“Good clean hotel in city center. Hotel kitchen is sometimes very slow and if you decide to walk to get food (pizza) bring cash with you..”

“Poor location advertised as near Greensboro. It is too far away. It was not a 3.5 star place 2.5-3.0 is more accurate.”

“Great place to stay - newly renovated. The only down-side is that you have to pay for parking. Also, there is not much in the area open on a weekend stay. Very nice hotel though!”

“The hotel was clean and the updated decor was very tasteful. The front desk lady was excellent, very friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The room was better than we expected, and the bed was quite comfortable. The bed linens were white and spotless. The bathroom was also redone with granite countertops, marble tile and the rounded shower curtain rod and large shower head were very nice. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Enjoyed my stay. Hotel staff was very helpful. Room layout was good. No refrigerator or microwave in room. $5 parking fee charged for daily stay, in and out.”

“Overall I had a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and pleasant. We did however, have to switch rooms. The first one we were given had a toilet that leaked and the phones did not work. The second room also had plumbing problems. I woke up early one morning and stepped into the bathroom to find an inch of water covering the floor.”

“It was fine. 5 dollars a day to park, and the wireless was not good.”

“This hotel needs to invest in wireless routers. It is a pain to have to request an extra cord. They punished me for booking on priceline. They told me I would have to pay an extra 10 bucks to get a room with a double bed or pay 10 dollars for a roll away... I have never been to a hotel that there is a charge for a roll away bed. There is also a charge to for parking.... It all adds up making this hotel not a good stay. The elevator shakes on the way up and down. The hallways lighting is really low and the bulbs buzz... made me feel like I was in a horror movie.”

“I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Hotel High Point. When I say I would like to stay at a 3 star, I expect a little more than stained sheet and dirty pillows. Marriott's are a 3 star, but this hotel is about a 1 and a half, if there is such thing. I don't complain much.”

“Towels were ragged, had to call housekeeping for toilet paper. Phone near bed did not work, there was a desk in the room but no chair, there was an ironing board but no iron (had to call housekeeping for an iron).”

“The staff was great. The hotel is under construction which did not mention, nor did they mention it was not a 3 1/2 star but a 2 star.”

“Very unpleasant stay. When I first arrived I was placed in a disabled room, that had a foul odor, and disable supports on the toilet. I found this odd, considering I didn't request such a room at check in.”

“Our room was large and clean with a very comfy sleep number bed. Not many towels stocked in the bathroom and when I called the front desk to request things I was asked to come down to the front desk rather than them having a staff member bring me whatever item was in question. Parking was not free and was somewhat inconvenient as you had to park in a garage next door and luggage carts were in short supply.”

“The hotel was average. The lobby gave you the impression that the rooms would be decorated really nice. It looks like some renovation has been done to the hotel; but if you look closely the workmanship is very poor.”

“Very nice hotel in the middle of downtown High Point. The hotel needs a better fitness center and the pool was indoors and very small.”
