“Very nice hotel in the middle of downtown High Point. The hotel needs a better fitness center and the pool was indoors and very small.”

“My wife and I were quite disappointed with our stay at the Radisson in High Point, NC during our 19th wedding anniversary. The front desk staff wasn't very friendly nor informative. We had to spend $5 per day for parking. When we checked in, it was communicated that parking was $5 for our entire stay. I would expect a parking fee in New York or Washington, DC but not High Point, NC. The Radisson in downtown Charlotte, NC doesn't charge for parking. When I called the front desk for a late check out, the person said that they would call us back because they were busy making reservations for other customers. I waited 30 minutes and called back to check on the status of my request. I spoke to the same person and she wasn't apologetic that she didn't call me back. She said she hadn't forgotten about me and left it at that. She put me on hold for a minute or two. When she returned to the line we weren't allowed a late check out. The hotel wasn't crowded at all and there wasn't a reason explained why we couldn't check out later than noon. Our room's carpet was very dirty. You couldn't see any stains. However, my wife's white socks were black on the bottom. The carpet in the hallways on the 8th floor need repair. They need to be stretched. The tile floor near the ice machine was filthy. It needed to be swept and mopped. I was unable to use the computer network. I have a new Dell laptop and I couldn't connect to the modem in the room. The pool was cold. Do you close it in the winter? The housekeeping staff and the bartender were very friendly and professional. The restaurant was experiencing problems with accepting credit cards. I had to charge my meals to my room. I didn't want.”

“This hotel was very comfortable and clean. The sleep number bed was wonderful! I have a bad back and dearly miss it. My king room also had a sleeper sofa. The sofa was nice for relaxing to watch the Olympics in the evening. Housekeeping was excellent. This was a great experience. I will return to this hotel.”

“Nice for the price; has comfortable air beds and nice staff. Room size is great. Carpet in room was very stained or dirty; the food in the bar was inedible.”

“The internet connection was not wireless, I ended up using free WiFi from a local business. Not business friendly at all. The room felt dingy, like it had not been updated in about 25 years. Location was not great for someone searching in the Greensboro Airport area. Overall would not have chosen this hotel.”

“The furniture showcase months are April and October, so we got off-season rates in the middle of summer. This hotel was very clean, rooms attractive, staff helpful and competent.”

“The hotel is located in downtown High Point, which is a ghost town on weekends. The hotel staff was helpful. The room was acceptable, just not very attractive. The walls and artwork just looked old and faded. The room has a sleep number bed which doesn't seem to be all it's cracked up to be. The mechanism was loud and temperamental. My daughter deflated her side too much and had a hard time getting it to work again. Parking is an additional $5 per day and is in an adjacent city garage. You can come and go as often as you like, but the process is cumbersome. You have to get a time stamp ticket as you enter the garage, then present your parking pass with the ticket as you exit. All in all, the hotel is acceptable but not anything to rave about.”

“The room and hotel was clean. The only negative is there was no where to eat close by. Otherwise, the hotel was what we expected.”

“This hotel is in the Downtown highpoint area which looked like it used to be a thriving area with furniture stores everywhere. Cops are everywhere and we heard sirens all night long. TV in room was tiny and limited channels. Free internet was slow. This is just a old run down hotel.”

“The Hotel is nice and has good amenities. There is a bar, an indoor pool and work out room. When we were there the magnetic key machine was not working. The engineer had to walk up to our room to let us in. If we left the room we had to get him to come back up with us to let us in again. Eventually this was fixed. The pool was way too hot. Not refreshing at all, more like taking a hot bath. The Sleep number bed, the Radisson's claim to fame, isn't that great. My stay was okay; I would go back and recommend the hotel to others. We probably hit a bad time.”

“Stayed here over the 4th of July holiday with my kids to play at the nearby water park. We had a great time. The location is right downtown and is convenient with free on street parking. The interstate was just 10 minutes away.”

“Besides for the bed having digital comfort zones, the room was okay. TV was small, I would not recommend for business as they had no wireless devices, they did have broadband but you have to ask for the wire.”
