• Great view of the Arch! Nice employees.
• The coke machine never gave me coke when I pushed the button! I got Sprite and Diet!

“When my husband and I arrived, the desk clerk upgraded our room to a suite when she found out we were celebrating our anniversary. The room had an awesome view of the Arch and St. Louis. Housekeeping was very helpful and polite. The room was clean although the shower was a tiny bit sketchy the shower head had been pulled from the wall and the grout needed to be cleaned a little better but I have definitely seen way worse. We really enjoyed our stay.”

• After we switched room, due to air conditioning we were in a 4 star room with a great view.
• The first room we were in for the first night was miserably hot.

“We stayed two nights. The first night we were placed in a room that was cramped, space wise. The foot of the bed was about a foot from the TV, leaving little space to walk between the two. And the room was unbearably hot, even after maintenance worked on the air. They switched our room for the second night and it was wonderful with lots of space and a terrific view.”

• Wonderful lobby and common areas. Great location. Nice, and a helpful staff.
• Rooms received were smallish, less updated than rest of property.

“This place is in a pretty great location if you want to be in downtown STL. Easy to get in and out of (once you figure out the confusing parking garage.) Close to everything downtown. Rooms had nice views of the city or the river area. Some rooms were odd shaped, but still comfortable. Rooms were clean and comfortable, although the AC/heat system has limits on what it can do, and might not be good enough for picky travelers or sleepers (it was fine for me). Common areas are nice, and staff was helpful and friendly. Outside of the building looks a little nasty, but inside is nicer. Building is old, and they've done a nice job of keeping it nice, although I've seen better in the area. For the price, it's pretty nice though.”

• Good view of the Arch.
• Dingy dark room, drunks all over the place.

“This is not a three or three and a half star hotel! It's old and hasn't been remodeled in a long time. The rugs are stained the room are dark, dingy, and small. It's loud at night and the sound-proofing in pretty much non-existent. The staff was polite but didn't go out of their way to be helpful. There are a number of elevators that are small and the wait for one to come is really long at times.”

• Nice Large Room, Wondeful Soft Bed and Pillows, Kitchenette
• Shower was a little small but the size of the room made up for it!

“Very nice hotel...loved the large large room. It was as big as an studio apartment.Ordered room service while kids at concert-great service and food. Used valet parking-great service quick and efficient. Would definitely stay at this hotel again!”

“Our check in and check out was very smooth. The staff was very kind and any concerns were addressed immediately. One of the three rooms I had did not have a functioning coffee maker but that was handled in an expedient manner.”

“Great experience with this hotel. Have stayed at many downtown hotels and this one was as good or better than most. We had a family of five in one double-queen room, and we had more than enough room. Good view from the 24th floor.”
