• The room only.
• Service, employees, hotel in general.

“Fire alarms went off twice asking us to vacate when there was no problem. My hotel door lock died and it took them 2 hours to fix it and it caused us to miss dinner reservations. No one seemed concerned enough to offer compensation. I had to insist they talk to someone that was empowered to final get us 2 drink coupons and comp us a dinner. Then our order was messed up and they didn't seem to care. Overall bad experience. We heard other guests complaining through out our stay as well. Even our food order at the pool was delayed due to some problem with other employees.”

• Friendly staff, Spacious well appointed rooms, Location.
• Paying for parking! $20 valet and $14 self park.

“My husband and I were very pleased with the hotel. The rooms were huge and well appointed. The location was great and close to everything we wanted. We felt the staff was helpful and very friendly when giving directions or suggestions of places to eat. We would stay there again and recommend it to our friends!”

• The staff was courteous, the valet was excellent, the food was good, they encourage travel with children.
• Provided private beach with chairs for rent for astronomical prices.

• Recent remodel a big plus and friendly staff.
• Parking too expensive and not close to anything.

“Very modern, remodeled room a plus, and very comfortable beds. Restaurant is just ok, the burger and conch chowder was the best. Friendly staff when I checked in. Parking is way too expensive and self park is in back of the hotel very near the 7-11 with no access other than walking to the front entrance.”

• Beautiful room with balcony.
• No free computers, had to pay. Pkg expensive.

• Location on intercostals was fantastic. Great pool and patio.
• Poor room service, no vending machines on property. Very small patio bar, no night life.

• Very much appreciated and enjoyed the good design, overall look, and cleanliness of the lobby and rooms, and the pool area.
• The restaurant at breakfast proved to be disappointing.

“Very good and comfortable place to stay. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. However, this may sound silly but, at breakfast in the restaurant, I wanted salt and pepper on my eggs and found the salt shaker empty not only at my own table but at two tables nearby as well. The wait staff didn't think to check the food at the buffet table. They'd forgotten to put out bacon that morning, and it wasn't until another customer spoke of it that they remembered. Then, they ran out of scrambled eggs but didn't no until a second customer brought this to their attention. Finally, the scrambled eggs were flavorless. They looked great but had no taste to them at all. I like my scrambled eggs in the morning. These were disappointing. I don't know how they did that. They didn't appear to be watered down. Even salt (when it was finally made available) and pepper couldn't bring out any flavor. The wait staff was very nice and attentive to customers, but not to the buffet table. It was odd.”

• The hotel was right next to the beach and that is what we were looking for.
• Our room was not cleaned properly. Our coffee pot was still full of old coffee and was not appealing to make any in it.

“This hotel is great if you are looking to go to the beach. It is just right across the street. If you do not like to walk the hotel pool is great also. Staff are really friendly. Would stay there if coming through again.”

• Clean, new facility with beautiful illusion pool on the intercostals.
• Bar closed early.

“This hotel was a surprise to us with its beautiful pool. It is a short walk across the street to the beach. A nice find!”

• Room was large and clean.
• Breakfast was disgusting.

“Overall, good experience but the room was too light and noisy (refrigerator & air conditioner). Also no view from window/balcony. Food was also expensive and quality not great. Reasonable location, though but you need to cross a busy road to get to the beach. Swimming pool was also out of commission.”

• We loved the room and we had a great view.
• Don't agree that you should be charged for self parking when you are parking your car yourself.

“My family loved the hotel. It was a great hotel. Did not like that we where charged for self parking when we parked our car our self. Felt that it was just a way for the hotel to make money off of you. The parking lot was not closed in for self parking. We did not see any security. Once again just felt it was a way for the hotel to make some extra money. You got to pay it. Because they know if you are from out of town. That you would not know where to go and park any where else.”

• Hotel room was greater than expected.
• The bellman was rude. The parking is not convenient and does cost $14 to park your own car.

“The hotel surprisingly was right next to the Hallendale water tower. This was fine for us, since we were going to spend our time in Sunny Isles. The hotel had a great pool area on the inner harbor side. The hotel asked us if we wanted to upgrade for some extra for a 'deluxe' room. We declined. Our standard room was beautiful (bar, refrigerator, etc.). The parking was not close and not conducive to walking. We had food thrown from the hotel into the parking lot when we came home one night, almost hitting us. Probably kids. Otherwise, we would stay there again.”
