• The breakfast was good.
• Other guests were loud at 1 am and housekeeping would knock to see if we were still there.

“Overall the hotel was good. They had a good breakfast in the morning, a variety of things to eat. The room had an odd smell to it. Other guest on the same floor was loud, yelling in the hallways early into the morning.”

• It was very clean, and the staff was very nice and helpful.
• The pool experience got ruined because they let over 100 6th graders in the pool. My daughter couldn't swim, and the why we went.

“I was told by the manager that I would get a free hotel stay because our pool experience got ruined. I was told I would receive it in the mail. That has been over a month ago and I still haven't received it. Where is it?”

• Somehow the missing exhaust fan in the bathroom.

• Its being renovated because it really needs it!

• It was clean.
• Check in was slow.

“The hotel was fine, but we arrived late and they started their night reports, so we had to sit in the lobby at 1:00 a.m. for 20 minutes before they could check us in. We were very tired, so it seemed like forever.”

• Elevators not so attractive, narrow hallways.

• Awesome staff especially Darlene at the front desk!
• It's hard to keep rooms/bathrooms hair free and clean.

“I am confident that the rooms are clean, the breakfast fulfilling and the staff awesome. It's a good location with great amenities for the price. Good job Holiday Inn Express. I stayed another night at full price this time and didn't mind the cost!”

“This is a nice hotel just off the highway, so the location is convenient. The breakfast was good and includes yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, cinnamon rolls, eggs, etc. The room was very clean, with lots of pillows (marked firm and soft). It was a nice place to stay.”

• Toilet would not flush.

“There was no pool, odd for a holiday inn, we had to go next door to the crown plaza, their hot tub was so low on water that the jet more or less blew the water straight out, made it almost impossible to enjoy the hot tub, the pool was almost to cold to swim in. Our toilet would not flush in the morning; I called maintenance, and then had to call again because no one showed up. Not in any hurry to go back to this hotel.”

• The staff is incredibly customer focused and friendly.
• It's starting to show its age. Keep up on maintenance.

“I have stayed at this hotel several times and find it to be clean, comfortable and very traveler friendly. The staff here is incredibly customer service oriented and very committed to their jobs. It is a pleasure to be treated as if every stay was important to them.”

“Property was just average, a good example of a 2, it was convenient for what our plans were in Springfield, weren't on the property much, just to sleep, so the amenities we normally look for werent needed.”

• I liked the room accommodations and the spacious dining area and good food for breakfast.
• We initially missed the turn to the hotel and so had to retrace our steps. Perhaps there is a clear sign, directing clients. If so, we missed it.

“The motel was clean and attractive. We enjoyed the dining area and breakfasts. We especially liked a Lithuanian waitress in the breakfast room, who was extremely cordial and helpful.”

• Gave me use of the pool at the hotel next door.
• The breakfast attendant did not keep the food available for the amount of people using it.

“The hotel was very nicely located right off the main highway. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. They gave you access to the pool at the hotel next door which was very nice. There were plenty of restaurants all in the general vicinity to choose from. I would stay at this hotel again if I have the opportunity.”

• The beds were comfortable.
• Not the hotel but some of the guests were very loud late at night.

“Overall, I would stay at this hotel again. The rooms were very clean and up to date. Breakfast was wonderful, there were many different opinions, which was great for the kids.”

• Starbucks right next door.
• The pitch black really long hallway on the way to star bucks. scary!

• I liked just about everything from what I can remember.
