• Continental breakfast was very good.
• No pool or spa.

“Located 16 miles south of San Francisco, hotel is right off highway yet very close to beach. Rooms were clean and comfortable and included a refrigerator, wet bar and microwave. A DVR was in the room in case you wanted to rent movies to watch or brought your own. Continental breakfast included hot items such as eggs and sausage or bacon, biscuits and cinnamon rolls. Cookies in the lobby in the afternoons and coffee available 24/7.”

• We didn't realize the hotel was at the water, the staff upgraded us to a room with a view and we saved money because we stayed in more.
• There was nothing we didn't like, clean, comfortable, friendly, great location.

“Loved the location. The hotel looked new, it was very clean. Loved that the pillows were not flat. The staff made us feel welcome. The morning paper was a nice touch. The continental breakfast was more than we expected, saved us money. We plan to return to this hotel!”

• Friendly service, clean rooms, great bed and towels!
• I can't think of a thing!

“Outstanding location one block from the beach. Checked in to the smell of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. Hotel common areas were clean and updated. Room was clean, stylish, large, with comfortable amenities. Breakfast was great. Underground parking a plus.”

• Microwave and frig were good. The iron and board were also good to have available.
• They do not accept pets. We usually travel with a tiny pet, and would not have been able to stay here if we had him with us.

“The hotel is well located for the area. The hotel was very clean and the lobby area and the 1st floor seating area was very comfortable. Providing the breakfast, which was much more than the normal coffee and muffins that many hotels have, was a great way to start the day. They also had cookies in the afternoon.”

• It had everything I need in the room so we did not have to go anywhere.
  
• The maid services not on my door.

“I was very upset and I will probably never stay their again, this was my anniversary. The maid would not go away and kept opening the door and spoiled the mood. Then we actually left the hotel arguing.

• Location near beach.
• Our room had a view of the backside of another building.

“We were expecting a nice beachfront ocean view room for this price. Our room had a view of the backside/roof of an adjacent commercial building. The entrance is poorly marked and there is no pool or amenities.”

• Breakfast, towels, bedding, house-keeping, cleanliness, hot cookies.
• Bed was not a king-it was a queen.

“This is a very nice hotel, and right on the water front. The breakfast selection is wonderful. The linens are fluffy and comfortable. The staff is all kind and helpful. The soaps and lotions provided are of good quality. The cookies offered in the evening are scrumptious!”

• Closeness to the beach.
• Carpets appeared to be dirty.

“Very nice. Stayed in a jr. suite. Would have liked a second floor room as it overlooked the old nicks of rock a way beach motel & parking lot. Staff was friendly & helpful in looking at other rooms available. Enjoyed the stay & would definitely recommend. Nice ocean view! Really enjoyed the "Seagway tour" a must for the not so "clutsy" crowd.”

• The room was clean and the staff very friendly.
• The underground parking was very tight and not user-friendly.

• Easy to find, clean, friendly staff.
• Upgraded without being asked given one bed instead of two. Elevator and atrium smelled of smoke.

“Over all it was a great comfortable place to stay. Any problems that occurred were taken care of right away by pleasant friendly staff. The morning breakfast items were perfect for my trip.”

• I really liked the shower head...in the bathroom...great massage
• The TV wasn't very good.

• Front desk not helpful.

“I booked an Ocean View Jacuzzi Suite. The room we got had the ocean view, but the Jacuzzi was inside the bathroom. We slept in and left our room at 1PM and when we got back at 5PM, the room had not been serviced (we didn't have the privacy placard on the door when we left). It took three phone calls to the front desk to get someone to come up to our room. We were told that housekeeping was generally available from 11AM to 1PM, and then available on a limited basis outside those hours. Our bed got made, we got clean towels, and the trash was removed, but we were not provided with any additional shampoo, soap, etc. (Luckily I had brought my own for our two night stay). Housekeeping was friendly but the front desk clerks were not. The best part about the hotel was the great ocean view.”

• Nice, friendly staff, clean hotel in a good location close to beach and dinning.
• Yellow is not my favorite.

“I was pleased with my stay. The location was nice, a short walk to beach and dinner. Staff was very friendly especially Dona. Continental breakfast had plenty of choices and went to 10:00. I enjoyed having a microwave and refrigerator in room. The room size was nice with a 2 year old. Bathrooms very clean a big plus.”

“Great staff. Excellent contenintal breakfast. Very quiet especially when one considers the proximity to the highway and the ocean. We have stayed here several times and will continue to do in the future.”
