• Hotel staff was friendly.
• Jacuzzi water didn't look healthy.

“Staff was nice but the location of the hotel was not convenient. We went to the pool and they were out of towels. The Jacuzzi was dirty and was never cleaned although we complained.”

• The pool area was nice.
• The airport was close, was right next door. I thought it was closer to beach area.

• Great accommodating staff, working graveyard provided great customer service.
• Nothing much, pool closed to early I guess.

• Overall it was a good stay. Staff was very friendly and responsive.
• The workout facility was extremely lacking.

“This hotel was in good proximity to the beach. I would not consider it upscale in anyway. The fitness room was just that. No equipment other than bikes/treadmill/stair stepper. As a frequent business traveler I need some type of weights/resistance equipment. Even a stability ball would have been better than nothing.”

• The bar area was well kept up and the staff was great.
• The Location was not as close as I would have liked to PCH.

• Room nicely decorated and clean. Sheets really soft.
• There was a unattractive spot on the carpet.

“Our room was nicely decorated and inviting. We felt that the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for that!”

• The only thing good about this hotel is if your flight gets canceled, your right next to the airport.
• Star rating is wrong. Too close to airport. No parking. Outdated.

“This hotel is very outdated and needs to be attended to. The coffee maker in my room did not work. Holes in the ceiling were patched up with tissue paper. AC made loud noises. No hot water at times. Will not stay again unless stranded at airport.”

• Beautiful lobby, comfy sleep beds, down comforters.
• Noisy A/C. Noise from highway, Noise from Airport.

“Beautiful hotel and mighty sturdy, as we experienced a 5.4 earthquake and on the 6th floor we just swayed back and forth. The rooms are beautifully appointed, as is the lobby. The bedding is white cotton and feels very clean and cozy. The sliding doors are old and there is no sound barrier between the room and the busy street below or the busy airport. The bathroom floor was getting a little sandy and bad by the end of the trip. For the price it was a nice hotel, but I don't think I'd stay at this location again since sleep is pretty important, and it's difficult with the external noises.”

• The lobby was clean, staff was friendly. Perfect for a convention or business, not for leisure travelers.
• The location was terrible for leisure travelers, business only. Next to airport.

“I would recommend Radisson again, not I was not pleased with its location. We wanted to be near the beach.”

• The lounge held up to the ideal of a hotel lounge although overpriced.
• Rooms were out-dated.

“Although pool was small and noisy due to air traffic, it was very enjoyable. Hassle free stay, overall, but will not stay again.”

• Friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, plenty of parking.
• It is not in Newport beach. It is in Irvine. Very disappointing.

“The hotel was great. The location was not very good. We were amidst corporate offices and buildings. The hotel is not in Newport beach, the title is deceiving. It is in Irvine. It just didn't feel like I was on vacation.”

• The employees were very friendly. The pool area was beautiful.
• The walls were paper thin - I felt little privacy.

“Like I said the walls were paper thin, so I could hear doors slamming, toilets flushing, conversations, etc. That particular night I was there, apparently skateboarding competitors were also staying there to compete at the Orange County Fair. The noise level continued on until past 3:00 AM. The hotel staff/security could not contain them, which I thought was unacceptable for this level of hotel. They finally called the police who got things quite around 4:00 AM.”

• Staff was friendly.
• Hotel room was noisy, and the bed was uncomfortable.

“Overall I was completely dissatisfied with this hotel. It is supposed to be 3 star upscale. The room I was in did not have sleep number beds, but rather rocks camouflaged as beds. Also, I could hear everything that my neighbors were doing - even when they were going to the bathroom. That is not upscale. I've had better stays at a motel 6. The only thing this place had going for it was a friendly staff. Be aware, that there is no hope for a good night's sleep here. With the airport across the street, and rooms that have walls of paper, you will hear every sound conceivable (and some not conceivable sounds as well).”

• I liked the lady at the gift shop and the bellman.
• Too noisy as there is construction work going.

“I was not happy. The noise and banging from the remodeling was bad. I thought that here I could get some much needed sleep as I am a professional. The noise went on and on, the elevator was not working when I got there, the ATM machine did not work. I am very unhappy. Plus no newspapers available on the week-end.”
