“An older, noisy hotel, fairly well located in Schaumburg. I request a non-smoking room and a king bed. The man said some odd things right off the bat. Nice attitude. After I checked in, my room was located near the elevator which was very, very noisy all day and night. Also, this hotel has the old style A/C units sticking out of the wall. There is no setting to run the fan constantly, so the thing kicks on and off noisily all night. Between that and the noisy elevator, it was not the most restful place. My room had a small terrace, which was nice since it is early spring and there were some pleasant weather days while I was there. But there is no screen on the doorwall, so I couldn't keep that open without inviting in bugs. The staff was apathetic at best. Housekeeping knocked on my door twice before 10 am on the day I was scheduled to check out. Annoying. On the plus side: it had the Sleep Number bed, if you like that sort of thing. It's certainly better than the standard hotel bed, that's for sure.”

“Small rooms, old tub with non skid strips peeling off, old bedding and carpet. Would never recommend.”

“This hotel is an older hotel from the 70s and has had many coats of paint, but no major remodeling. The hotel is not what I expected from a 4 star rating, nor would I stay again.”

“I would expect a 3 star hotel to not have shabby and tattered comforters and I would also expect the basic comfort of warmth when the outside temperature is almost in the single digits.”

“This hotel is very convenient for business and shopping. Also, it is located from the main road which has major traffic. Renovations of exterior, lobby area, and hall ways should be necessary to attract more customers. Somehow, it looks old and has dark image. Room was clean and well maintained.”

“I would not stay again. The water from the sink never got hot. The faceplate in the shower was loose, there were no options on the showerhead to change the type of spray, there wasn't much water pressure, and the room was boring, no continental breakfast. The windows were insinuated and I could feel a draft, and one window had frost/condensation on the inside.”

“This hotel is in the shopping district of Schaumburg. The outside of the hotel is dated but the parking was convenient. The check in was efficient and the receptionist was helpful with suggestions about the area. The room was on the second floor about two rooms down from the elevators. There was a noise from above the room that required getting use to. It was some motor or compressor noise that occurred a couple of times per hour. It might have been the elevator, but I could not exactly pinpoint it. There was a sleep number bed. This was a first for me. I found my sleep number to be around 50. The room offered wireless internet access, which I did not try. The bathroom was small, smaller than I would expect from a 4star hotel. The shower's water pressure was lower than to my liking. The hotel offers an on site restaurant with room service, neither of which was used. The room did not seem worn out or dated and was simply comfortable.”

“The location of the hotel was convenient so our stay and the staff were helpful but somewhat uniformed about the area. Very disappointed in the room size and that things like the "sleep number bed" and a few other things did not work properly.”

“It was better then we expected. The room was perfect for our needs with a wheelchair. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and thought the food was excellent. We even are considering going back just for the breakfast buffet even when we do not stay there.”

“The staff was not educated in the hotel equipment behind the bar. My heater did not work and the restaurant staff would disappear for 10 or 15 minutes at a time without coming out to see if anyone had sat down at the bar. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not return. I may not stay in another Radisson.”

“Well kept, excellently situated hotel. Staff did not seem overly knowledgeable about the general area, for example they did not know where Frontenac Provincial Park was (it is a very well known hiking destination only 45 minutes north of the hotel).”

“Although I bought 2 rooms for 5 days which was advertised as offering free breakfast, none was offered. When checking out, the lady next to me was asking for her free breakfast coupons. When I mentioned that I hadn't received them for my stay I got an apology. That could have saved the 5 of us an awful lot of money.”

“This hotel was ok in the room but the smell was bad and it was 67 outside the humid in the lobby and hallways like they turned the air conditioning off. Also they had number air beds they are no good. I could not sleep if you dont know how to use them good luck plus the instructions are hard, and I have 2 degree's.”
