“Great hotel with a real nice room for a very good price - I'll probably stay there again.”

“This hotel was okay - however my first room was very cold - when I turned on the heat it blew out cold air for over a half hour. The front desk was apologetic and explained that it takes at least 20 minutes to warm up because of cold pipes. After an hour I was moved to a new room - which was warmer. However, in this room I found a cockroach in the bathtub. It was past midnight at this point and I was too exhausted to complain.”

“This is a nice hotel, but we were expecting a lot more considering it's in the same class as Doubletree hotels. I would in no way say they are even remotely comparable hotels. The first room we were put in had a 5 foot brick wall obscuring our view from the sliding glass doors. We were moved to a different room which was better in that respect but still, just a 2 star level room. The bathroom was very small with little counter space and a tiny bath tub. The hotel doesn't offer a continental breakfast, you have to order from the hotel restaurant which, as is the norm for hotel restaurants, was quite expensive. All in all, we were under whelmed considering the night before we stayed in a Holiday Inn Express (which is a 2 star) that was much more impressive.”

“I could not have had a worse experience in a hotel where I thought the star rating was high. Carpet was dirty and smelled, room service tray on our hall not picked up for 48 hours until we called, housekeeping stole something out of cosmetic kit - I disliked going to my room each of the four nights I was there. The worst!”

“Hotel is located on a major road in the area - nowhere to walk. Nice pool and exercise area. Did not try the food. Other than the poorly repaired toilet and the lack of any cable channels, the hotel was quite nice.”

“Upon check in there was no luggage cart, I was staying for 4 days and had a lot of luggage, I manually made three trips. Next I was using the filthy fitness center at 5 am and a hotel employee came in and turned down the TV because he said it woke up a customer, and what was I? The reason I used the fitness center so early was that most of the equipment is broken so you would have to take your turn with other guests. The ice maker on the third floor did not work three out of the four times I tried to use it.”

“The hotel was attractive and clean. The staff was friendly. I was sorry to see breakfast was not included nor was there a computer for the guests to use themselves. I think it caters more to the business travelers as they were provided breakfast and most have laptops with little need of computer access. Pool was outdoors and closed. If in the area again I would probably choose a more family friendly hotel that would include breakfast and some activities for the family of some sort.”

“I arrived after 10:00 pm and left to pick up my husband from O'Hare Airport at 11:00. His flight was delayed and when we arrived we noticed the toilet was filthy (the upper inside of the bowl was disgusting) so we asked if we could have our room changed. My husband called back and asked if someone could clean the toilet. We were then given a room on the 4th floor with two full beds which meant the bed was uncomfortable and tight for two adults to sleep in.”

“An older, noisy hotel, fairly well located in Schaumburg. I request a non-smoking room and a king bed. The man said some odd things right off the bat. Nice attitude. After I checked in, my room was located near the elevator which was very, very noisy all day and night. Also, this hotel has the old style A/C units sticking out of the wall. There is no setting to run the fan constantly, so the thing kicks on and off noisily all night. Between that and the noisy elevator, it was not the most restful place. My room had a small terrace, which was nice since it is early spring and there were some pleasant weather days while I was there. But there is no screen on the doorwall, so I couldn't keep that open without inviting in bugs. The staff was apathetic at best. Housekeeping knocked on my door twice before 10 am on the day I was scheduled to check out. Annoying. On the plus side: it had the Sleep Number bed, if you like that sort of thing. It's certainly better than the standard hotel bed, that's for sure.”

“This hotel is an older hotel from the 70s and has had many coats of paint, but no major remodeling. The hotel is not what I expected from a 4 star rating, nor would I stay again.”
