“With all the new hotels that popped up in Yuma in the last few months, this hotel better upgrade/refurbish or it will lose to all the newer competition.”

“The first 2 days the shower was clogged and it took then until the last day to clean. The chair in the room had stains all over it. I never touched it. It was a bad poor experience.”

“It looks like they were doing some renovation of the hotel. It would be best to start with some beds, they were as hard as rocks. The continental breakfast was more than I expected, which is very good. Pleased with the experience, did not expect as much.”

“Very convenient, close to the only mall. Beds were comfortable. Close to the marine base if you have family there. Not very safe, seems to have people living there not just staying there. Also they have a very late check in (3 p.m.) and a very early check out (10 a.m.).”

“Clean, efficient for overnight stay, but feels cheap, white walls, unattractive decorations, not as close to freeway as expected, would not stay again.”

“Overall, the room was ok. But my mother became very sick (COPD patient) and I had to rush her home, even though I paid for 2 nights.”

“It was adequate for the eleven hours we were there. They did not have a crib available for our baby, so that was a huge pain, and a sketchy, 70's style high chair for dining. The walls were thin, so we could hear the TV in the next room, but it had a fridge and microwave in our room which was a huge bonus! The room served our purposes well, but probably would look for something a little nicer if we were staying long.”

“The poor parking available at this facility (parallel parking only on my side of the motel) caused my car to be damaged during my brief stay. A truck backed into my car, leaving a trailer-hitch-sized hole in my front fiberglass bumper. Will cost hundreds to fix! Also the motel was VERY hard to find due to a mailbox-sized sign being only hint the hotel is on the street. I had to phone for directions three times.”

“It is an older hotel that has changed management (the pool rules sign used to read Holiday Inn). In some ways you could tell it was older (the painted/worn hot tub and doors that open to the outside). My husband and I were very pleasantly surprised, though, with the hotel over all. The lobby was big and comfortable with a computer for internet and a TV. The pool was warm. The hot tub was a good temperature, but the jets weren't good. Turning them on bubbles half the water out of it. The free drinks at happy hour were a welcome treat, and the one week-night we were there, we enjoyed the dinner-hot dogs/hamburgers/watermelon/chips (nothing extravagant, but it saved us from going out and buying food. Breakfast included bagels, toast, waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, cereals and donuts. We were able to get a crib for our 11 month old. The only real mar on cleanliness was some glass on the stairs that they took a while to clean up. The room smelled a bit like smoke at first, but after a while, I didn't notice it. Overall, I think it's a great place when you're on a budget!”

“The staff was quite uninterested in me as a guest. One day they never cleaned the room or replenished any of the essentials, I had to go to the desk and ask for coffee packs and shampoo. The mattresses are old, saggy & hard.”

“Very friendly, nice grounds. The bathroom could use an upgrade but everything was clean and tidy. Some maintenance work could be used on the outside, i.e., screens, door painting. All appliances worked. Good value for what we paid.”

“The hotel is conveniently located to shopping and eating. The staff is professional, helpful and friendly. The pool and Jacuzzi area is nice. There are many, many cable channels to watch on TV. We did find on our hotel room carpet floor near the bed old cigarette butts and q-tips. Overall experience was fine except for the trash on the floor.”

“Was given a room that had not been cleaned. Second room was not much cleaner but the bed was made. No water pressure for shower for brushing teeth. The wake up call was an hour late. Bed was old and like sleeping on a board. The room had an overall unclean feeling. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection. This hotel has too high star rating. I would give it one star and that may be pushing it.”
