“Everything about this hotel screams relax. The staff was so pleasant, helpful and everything was in order. Check in was a little late, 4pm. The tub in my room was huge! Great coffee in the room and newspaper at my door in the morning. I would definitely stay there again. I did not have a chance to dine there, but will in the future. Had a little maintenance problem which was fixed within minutes of my making a call.”

“I would recommend this hotel highly. It was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful when asking about things to do. The landscaping was beautiful and we were impressed that it was eco-friendly.”

“I have stayed at Lowes hotels before and while they are always nice the Ventana Canyon resort is outstanding. Excellent location, wonderful friendly staff, lovely rooms with comfortable beds, and great restaurants. The brunch on Sunday is a must! We had a great time hiking, swimming, and relaxing. The Prickly Pear Margarita hits the spot at the end of the day. Thanks for the wonderful trip. We will be back!”

“This is the best hotel/resort I've ever stayed at. Customer service is their priority. Staff is always friendly and always looking to help. They are very accommodating, whatever your request. Every inch of this facility is attractive, clean, and well maintained. The views are beautiful, the food is great, and we didn't want to leave. In fact, we'll be returning in a few weeks!”

“Great location in North Tucson foothills. Property is a bit old but tidy & well maintained. Nice pool area, didn't check out the fitness, tennis or spa this time. Room was very good; nice bed & bedding; huge shower.”

“The hotel was great if you want to be waited on 100% of the time. It was remote so you had to drive at least 10 minutes to find any type of restaurant, the onsite places served weird chips, soy milk, things most kids don't eat. Sodas from the machine were $4.00 They charge you $9.00 per day to keep your car in the parking lot. Most people have to drive to a hotel so that is a total hustle. The shower only has 1 door, so no matter what, and when you shower you soak the entire bathroom floor. The pool was dirty.”

“We planned lots of activities for our trip to Tucson but once we checked into our hotel, we changed our plans so we had more time to spend there. We loved the pool area and the helpful pool attendants. They had ice water for the guests, pool toys for kids, and were giving out popcicles one day. The location was beautiful and we didn't want to spend one minute inside. We really liked dining at their Flying V restaurant on the patio overlooking the one of the golf courses. We loved the oversized bathtub and LCD TV in bathroom also. The service was perfect and to our satisfaction. We stayed there over Easter weekend and they had fun Easter activities planned for the kids, dancing for the adults and free nightly performances in the lounge. Also the valet parking was free and they were passing out chilled bottles of water to guests coming and going. We were very impressed and look forward to coming back again!”

“This resort offers a great location against the Catalina Mountains. It offers great access to hiking trails and nearby Sabino and Ventana Canyons. Its pool, while large, does not have any water features like the nearby La Paloma resort hotel. It has a nice lounge and bar area with bands offering entertainment in the evenings.”

“We loved this place! Every staff member made us feel comfortable. We are not really "resort" type of people but went for a special occasion. The staff was very attentive and pleasant. They all had a smile on their face and a "hello" or "good morning" for us. I knew Ventana Canyon would be an excellent experience but it was beyond my expectations. The food was great and with so many dinning options they appeal to the family traveler as well as the high-end taste buds. Oh, and don't get me started on the golf course and spa!”

“Room ready when we got there, everyone knew your name when you picked up the phone, that has such a special touch, view spectacular, rolled down the bed with a little piece of chocolate, (don't eat candy but was a really nice feeling touch) even the Valets were especially nice, it was like the Ritz.”

“I have stayed here multiple time. I have stayed here for pleasure multiple times. My favorite hotel in Arizona- Love it! Beautiful rooms, but the location and the natural beauty of where this hotel is the kicker. A must stay!”

“This hotel was in a prime spot in Tucson! The hotel's outside and inside was beautifully decorated. The rooms were super clean and the guest shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were all high quality. The thing I did not like was no free wireless and they charge $9 for parking in the lot. My husband was disappointed with the "no free internet" and no refrigerator in the room and the parking fee so needless to say that ruined it for him.”
