“I would NOT recommend this old dingy hotel to anyone. Wish I had a the opportunity to decline this hotel. So many bad reviews and it is still on Pricelines list. Disappointed.”

• Poor parking, rooms look very old and
  beds are very old.

“This hotel should not be rated 2.5 star. This is a old hotel that has not been remodeled in decades. The elevators are very slow. We couldn't check in until 4:00 pm when check in was 3:00 pm. The shower heads were poor. No extra pillows or blankets in the room. This was just a bad experience overall.”

• The beds were horrible like sleeping on ply wood. The towels were stained yellow and had a bad smell to them.

• It was inexpensive.
• Seemed old. Gave me a room that was already occupied, it was embarrassing. Gave me another room.

“It seems to be past it's prime in a downtown setting. Close to Convention Center but busy traffic. Needs to update rooms and registration system. I would not return.”

“Clean, centrally located nice hotel. No breakfast offered for 3 star. Parking fee for car was reasonable. Would most assurably recommend this place.”

• Location is great for downtown Tucson.
• It is so empty it ofter feels deserted and a bit creepy.

“The hotel experienced a arson attempt the week before my stay. Learning that was a frightening.”

• The Staff was exceptionally friendly and fun.

“This Hotel is in downtown Tucson a little difficult to find. But the lobby is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable. It does have a slight musty smell. Not over powering but obviously an older hotel that has been refurbished.”

• Price was reasonable and easy to find. Lobby was nice and attractive, staff was helpful.
  
• Beds were very uncomfortable. Rooms seemed uncared for with dirty walls.

“Hotel Arizona is conveniently located by the Tucson Convention Center with a beautiful lobby. Rooms have not been completely renovated in a while. Uncomfortable beds. Parking garage is too small to accommodate large trucks.

• Staff were polite and very helpful when asked for direction and information for surrounding area.
• Would of been nice to have Continental breakfast, cost of breakfast was what I did not like with children their eyes are bigger then their stomach.

“We were greeted very professionally and polite by the staff and when we requested another room because the first one the air conditioner did not work, the staff was very polite and had smiles on their faces. With a lot of traveling that I do with my family. I do not like to go to a hotel or motel and not see staff smiling and act rudely.”

“Place was a little run down. Lobby was ok. Staff not so friendly. The room felt like a dumpy Day's Inn. Maybe worst.”

• The staff was very friendly.
• There was so much construction, it took us 1 hour to find our way there.

“The room was small, not at all what I had expected. The bathroom there was no room to really turn around. The bed was very comfortable. Overall it was a good short stay.”

• The price.
• Old flat pillows and sheets came off bed.

“The hotel could make some changes and be very nice. Upgrade some bedding and clean pool area for starters.”

• The fountain downstairs in lower level.
• No refrigerator, microwave, no spare towels, etc.

“It is not a 2 1/2 star. I wanted a 2 1/2 star. They charge $0.75 for each local call, $4.75 a day for parking. Many other hotels, don't charge for local phone calls, have plenty of towels, parking is free.”

• Convenient location.
• A nice hotel had aged and had not had not been remodeled.

“It had a convenient location just off the freeway. It had good room availability. Parking was secure. Rooms were clean. The beds were not particularly comfortable and the whole hotel had an aged appearance.”

• Friendly restaurant staff slow, out of food.

“Only parking available is extra $4.75 per night, restaurant had very limited menu and several choices were out, including Hamburger(!). Though staff was friendly service was very slow. The good thing was Corona's were cold.”
