“Me and my friend stay here cause it is right a cross the street where we go dancing all night. So we are able to walk there and walk back and not worry about getting a DUI. Free breakfast, nice clean rooms and lots of fun and safety for us.”

“I was greeted by a clean lobby and a smiling, friendly individual. The bed was firm, perhaps too firm for some but the pillows were down and provided no support. It was quiet in general, however. The hotel also had a laundry room in which you could do laundry if needed.”

“We enjoyed the breakfast and leisure time around the pool. The staff put us on the quiet side of the motel. And there was an elevator to help. The staff was wonderful.”

“Room was very clean, well appointed and roomy. Check in and out was fast and friendly. Social hour is something I had not seen in some time. Breakfast buffet had fresh selections and even some hot choices, including self made waffles.”

“Hotel is very dated and needs renovations. Rooms are extremely small. Air conditioning did not work. Did not sleep at all as room was very hot. Would never stay there again. Gives Carlson a bad name.”

“It was easy to find. Check in went fast and the room was comfortable. Except for the bite, everything was great.”

“Great location, central to most of Phoenix. The noise from the freeway was minimal especially if the air-conditioner was on. Accessibility was easy. The continental breakfast was terrific. The room was very small, but clean. If the air/heater was on it blew directly on the bed making a comfortable sleep quite interrupted. The bathroom was spacious, clean and it great condition.”

“Had a great two night stay. Unable to take advantage of pool area, but it looked clean and very inviting. Beds extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay again.”

“The hotel room was large but not in very good shape. Carpet was old and so were the bathroom fixtures. I don't generally like hotels with outside room entrances.”

“The hotel has small suites, but all doors face the outside, so it tends to be noisy. There is only one elevator for the complex. We didn't find the elevator until after we had carried our luggage up the stairs to the 3rd floor. In the morning, the staff rushed to close the breakfast buffet 30 minutes earlier than stated, and this practice continued each day we were there--Those who were late honestly didn't miss much: the ever-present waffle maker, a few bagels and unappetizing muffins, some cereal, coffee and juice, no fresh fruit. Inside the room there was a coffee maker, but only decaf--not much use to me in the morning. I went to the desk to ask for a packet of regular coffee, and a maid was sent up with decaf (she told me in Spanish that she didn't have the other one). The televisions are rather small, but I generally don't use them, so that was not an issue for me. Overall, this is not a hotel horror-story, but it was a rather unpleasant stay, and I can't imagine why I'd stay there again when there are so many better choices.”
