“Excellent staff - convenient location - a lot of food and shopping nearby. Would definitely stay here again.”

“This is an older hotel that has been well kept up. The room was ok except the lighting could be better. There was no access to a wireless internet connection or an easily accessible power outlet for a laptop. All areas were clean and well maintained.”

“Nice property. Very clean. Moderately upscale. Out of non-smoking rooms by the time I got there. 1st room reeked of smoke. They were nice enough to change me to a handicapped smoking, which was fine. Desk person even walked down there with me with a can of air freshener, if we needed it. But we didn't. Good, clean place. Not worn out or anything like that. Pleasant to stay at.”

“I was in town on business with three other co-workers. We are state employees and gave the front desk, upon check-in, our tax slips in order to not be charged any taxes. At the end of the week, the front desk stated that she could not find my tax slips and insisted on charging me taxes. Her co-worker found the tax slips a few minutes later but she still insisted on charging me taxes because I was paying my bill with my credit card and not a state check. I had my state ID and tax forms but she still would not allow it. My co-worker called my room on several occasions using her room phone and when she checked out, the front desk charged her for a 911 phone call that said she made while dialing my room. She had no idea what they were talking about and they declined to discuss it with her. The rooms are somewhat clean (we found a live cockroach in the bathroom) but if your air conditioner is not turned on at all times, the room gets VERY muggy. The room felt wet most of the time due to the muggy-ness and the carpet just felt dirty and moist when walked on barefoot. ”

“Excellent value and location for the price - few maintenance issues, but quickly handled. Room service - food very good, but empty trays sat in the hall an entire day until we called front desk.Went down to pools on Sunday morning, due to open at 10:00 am, but had just been treated with chemicals and could not use until after noon. Front desk arranged late checkout to allow us to use pools. Would recommend that staff treat pools during early morning hours so they are available as posted. Housekeeping a bit short-stocked with towels when cleaning, but brought them up within an hour or two.”
