• AC was good.
• Pricey.

“Save your money it is not worth it, the loud trains every two hours. They need to invest in some insulation for the walls to. You can hear the people in the next rooms conversation. I will not stay there again.”

• We had a corner room which had a beautiful view, the windows with the view was my favorite part of the hotel.
• There were not many restaurants around; however, this was because it was made grass at the time.

“We absolutely loved our stay at the Riverview plaza! We could not have been more pleased or impressed with our room. We will definitely be going back and hope to get that same room (or another room with that same setup, i.e. Corner room with awesome view). My fiancé proposed to me in that room, and because of how great this room was, it has contributed to me having such a special memory, and I thank Riverview plaza for that.”

• Renovated rooms were well decorated and I bed was very comfortable.
• I order breakfast and the staff messed up my order and didn't even bother to accommodate me after waiting for a length of time. I decided to take the food.

“Recently, my family and I stayed at the Riverview the weekend of August 11th. The room was breath taking. My parents had the king size bed with a chase overlooking Mobile Bay and I stayed family stayed in the two queen beds. The bedding was to die for. Big fluffy pillows and down comforter. The bathroom was relatively small but was really nice with granite counter tops When we arrive it was difficulty to find the entrance to the hotel and drove several times around the block(due to construction), however I contacted someone at the front desk and she guided me. Parking is $8.00 a day. Also the sound of a train can be heard at night and to locate an ice machine (it's only located on even number floors), we were on the 23rd floor. Also I had to contact Maintenance due to problems with toilet, however someone came very quickly. Restaurants are nearby, I suggest you eat at the Spot of Tea (3 blocks from the hotel). Each room had a refrigerator and coffeemaker It would have been nice to have a microwave in the rooms since I had two children under 6 years old. However, I did have a wonderful stay and would come back again.”
