“The best price I found in Washington, D.C. The location was in a safe, convenient neighborhood with a CVS across the street. But never enough staff on duty. Always had to wait for help at front desk or when calling. My credit card was charged for stay even though I paid in advance, but it was quickly corrected when I called. Beautiful pool with lifeguard. Clean and fairly classy hotel. No free internet or wireless access. Non-functioning elevators the biggest hassle.”

“The hotel was in a good location for downtown area, just a few blocks from sightseeing. Front desk was friendly, courteous & helpful. Rooms were good for the star rating. With renovations scheduled for July they will be nice. I would recommend the hotel to friends. Pool hours could have been a little longer in the evening so the kids would have more time to swim and relax.”

“For a 2* hotel, it more than exceeded my expectations, overall. The only bad part is $18.00 per night self parking, and $23.00 per night using the valet. A little steep, I think. Otherwise, it was clean, and as convenient as the 4* across the street at triple the price. I did not eat at the restaurant, but the bar was clean and the bartenders were competent.”

“Everything was in order. For a 3 star hotel it was a bit old inside. The bathrooms need to be updated, especially the bath tub and tiles. Further than that things were in order.”

“The radiator in the room was noisy and there was no way to adjust the room temperature for a personal setting. The hotel decor was attractive, but I'd say this was closer to 2.5 stars than a 3-star hotel. Room service was timely and the server pleasant, but the food temperature (scrambled eggs in the morning and hot cocoa at night) was between tepid and warm (I wasn't expecting piping hot, but I did expect warm).”

“The hotel was located conveniently and had all the amenities one would except of a hotel in this category. The staff was very accomodating and permitted an early check-in so I could leave my bags in my room. Unknown to me at the time, the room they gave me was a handicap-accessible room. The room was clean and comfortable. I would return without hesitation.”

“I would have been fully satisfied if this property had been rated as a 2. No way that it is actually a 3 star hotel.”
