“I don't know where to begin, you know the hotel is going to be bad when you pull up and see guests sitting in open room windows smoking cigarettes. This hotel was probably one of the foulest properties I've been in a long time. Traveling with our teen daughter, we arrived to find that our dingy, nasty, dated room only had one bed. The front desk clerk was not particularly helpful and told us the property was completely full and there was nothing he could do. We obtained a refund and found a much nicer hotel a few miles away. The room that was reserved for us was 2 feet from the elevator on the 3rd floor. The entire hotel smelled of cigarette smoke. The room and the entire hotel are in desperate need of a remodel. The furniture, television, bedding and carpets were extremely worn and dated. The carpet looked pretty dirty - I would never put my bare feet on it. Although the property is very convenient to GA Southern Univ., I would never recommend this dump to anyone. I felt like I caught the cooties in just the 15 minutes we were there.”

small dog staying across the hall was frequently barking thru the night. Not Enif sound insulation in the first floor. No shampoo or conditioner available, no sink stopper in the bathroom sink, The
TV remote didn't turn the set off and on, the ice machine wasn't working(downstairs). The 3rd floor was much quieter.”

“We checked in on a Saturday afternoon for one night's stay. We were traveling with our 9 year old and a 22 month old. We requested two extra towels and two additional pillows since our king size bed only came with three very flat pillows. The front desk clerk told us there no more towels or pillows and that the hotel was not obligated to provided extras. She said the reason they were out was because they had a busy weekend. I never heard of that happening before - no more towels or pillows - at such a large chain hotel.”

“Location is great for Georgia Southern University visitors, but wish there were other options. Usually La Quinta is a very nice hotel, but this was the worst I've stayed in. Needs to be updated and freshened up to have a cleaner and more pleasant feel/appearance.”

“This hotel is conveniently located, easy to access from the highway and it felt quite safe and secure. No outside entry. I highly recommend this facility and will stay there again.”

“When we arrived and checked in we had one double bed in a really small room, I called front desk and they were very helpful, although we could not get a room with 2 beds they put us in a nice king suite. The staff was great!!”

“This is a typical hotel with limited accessories. The bathroom wallpaper was coming off and the sheets were extremely worn. The breakfast was pretty good with the best part being able to make your own waffles. It was very convenient to the college.”
