• When a problem came up the staff was quick to fix it.
• When booking my room I never would have thought there were two Holiday Inn's in smyrna.

“I did not spend much time in the hotel I paid to be in because I was waiting at the "other" Holiday Inn in Smyrna. When I tried to check in to the other Holiday Inn they told me my room was not ready yet instead of you have the wrong hotel. I did not get to the right hotel until 5pm and then the hot water did not work. The staff was quick to find me another room and did help me get transportation to the other hotel and to my family event. There needs to be a distinction between the two hotels in this small suburb of Atlanta when booking your room. Like on a search engine "did you mean" Something other than the staff of two hotels telling you "this happens all the time." The staff at the other hotel was sneaky and greedy trying to get me to book a room in there hotel after I had one already paid for 3 miles away. At the hotel I actually booked the staff was OUTSTANDING. The hot water did not work and they found me another room within a half hour. When my daughter and I needed a ride downtown they call us a limo that charged the same as a taxi. When we needed to get back to the other hotel to meet the rest of our group they made the other hotels shuttle bus come get us. When I forgot my cell phone and charger they had it waiting for me at the desk with out me having called to say I had even lost it.”

• I selected this hotel because of its proximity to the home of a relative I visited.
• Hotel appears to have been converted from a lower end chain to Holiday Inn Express - bed and arm chair in room were somewhat worn.

“This holiday Inn Express is close to established/older northwest Atlanta neighborhoods and Buckhead and also close to new upscale living and shopping in Cobb County ¿ a great location for my needs.”

• Location.
• The rooms are getting very tired, the furniture was getting ratty.

“The hotel was fine for the business trip I was on, the location was close to the complex I was working at. The hotel itself could use some work, but all in all it wasn't bad.”
