“Stayed 8 nights June 1 to 9, room was cyan, staff was good, price was very good!, I have stayed hear 2 years in a row, I see bad review on net and I don't now what this people are talking about! The hotels are old but they are trying to make it the best that it can be! Stayed 2006, 2007, and will be back in 2008!”

“Staye dat the Desert Inn for 4 nights this past week and it is a great hotel. I reserved a suite and it was more than I expected. The room was very spacious and clean, while the ocean view was breathtaking. My wife and children all agree that the Desert inn is a top resort for daytona beach. ”

• Having to go home.

“ This hotel was awesome! My wife and I stayed for 5 nights for our honey moon. It was amazing, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Except packing up to go home of course. They did have all of the amenities required for a top notch hotel. The indoor heated pool was a dream for those chilly nights in early January. We absolutely loved our room! A king bed, Jacuzzi, ocean front balcony and the woman I love more than anything: what else could you ask for. We were 100% satisfied with the accommodations and can't wait to return. You can tell that the hotel has been around for a while, but it is a well maintained property!”

• Ice machine is at the front desk.

“The room was clean. The price was fair. The service and food was good. I brought my wife and 2 boys and we all had good time. ”

• Indoor pool, rooms are big and clean, right on the ocean, price!
• I had to go home.

“I loved the desert inn! I stayed there for 3 nights during the turkey rod runs this year and it was fantastic! My room was very clean and spacious, while the balcony provided the most amazing view of Daytona beach. The check in process was smooth and the clerks at the desk were more than willing to lend a helping hand with my luggage. The indoor pool was awesome, especially with the weather being a little chilly during the runs. My boys stayed busy in game room and of course they loved the free internet cafe! In all I was very satisfied with the amenities at the desert inn and can't wait to come back!”

“ We decided to give the facility a try and hope that the reports were incorrect. We never got a confirmation, even after we called requesting one we were promised it was in the mail, but as of 7-22-05 it has not arrived??? Upon arrival in Daytona we came to the check in to look at the room before we paid the rest of the week. After standing in line for several minutes hearing complaint after complaint about the room being dirty, the air not working, the noise and numerous other issues. A lady ran in screaming that help was needed at the pool area. A fight had broken out and some guys were throwing beer bottles at each other with children in harms way. One of the victims came walking at me and my crying 10 yr old daughter covered in blood, yes BLOOD his head was cut open very badly needing medical attention the staff allowed him to walk out. I decided that this was no family resort, as advertised to me, and proceeded to find alternate lodging. I came back to give another try because you can not always be held responsible for others, but to my dismay the gentlemen who were drunk and causing the trouble were still staying at the resort. Also I would like to bring it to your attention that a charge for a pornographic web site appeared on my credit card after I gave the card number to your reservation center, I have been informed by the pornographic company that the stolen charge originated from this location. People beware the reports are all true I witnessed them firsthand.”
