• Elevators are slow, ice machine didn't work.

“Elevators are old and almost got stuck in it, ice machine didn't work, couldn't get a 1 bed room even after request for a two night stay, would never stay here again.”

• Reception staff on arrival (new hire) was exceptionally fine.
• Walls too thin, piece of tissue left on bathroom floor.

“Conveniently located to both major highways, the hotel was easy to find and easy to check into. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom well soundproofed, and the internet easily accessible with no connection problems. Because it was a holiday weekend, the breakfast menu was limited, and we ate at a not-very-nearby diner.”

• Right off the Merritt Parkway so it is very convenient.
• The view out of the room was ten feet of space before a wall of rock. They blasted the hill to build the hotel.

• People were friendly and helpful. Room was well maintained and clean.
• Breakfast was not included; no breakfast buffet was available.

“Clean, well maintained hotel within easy driving distance to NYC. Staff was helpful, but need more experience in providing directions and information about the area. We needed to use an internet map search to find directions to the local seaport area. Hotel is quiet and security at night is very tight. Breakfast is not included, nor is a simple breakfast buffet provided.”

“Our air conditioner would not turn off, when we came back to room at 11:00 PM, the room was 64 degrees. Front desk did not have anyone to fix problem but they moved us to a room close by.”

• There was a strong smell when first entering the floor and room but it disappeared. The maids were changing sheets and it was probably dirty sheets.

• Everything, I believe that it was underrated.
• The quality of the food.

“An excellent place to stay whether for business or pleasure. The staff, in particular Daisy, were made our stay pleasurable, enjoyable, and extremely comfortable. The beds were second to none, and facilitated a restful nights sleep.”

• Inattentive waitress service at restaurant/breakfast.

“There was free, good coffee in the lobby during breakfast hours, super-friendly front desk staff, two internet computers available, comfortable (neutral-colored) room, lots of good pillows, perfect bathroom, wall thermostat, plush carpet in hallways, two internet computers off the lobby. Great location near restaurants and shopping. A problem with my mother-in-law's heating unit in her room prompted a change in room and free breakfast vouchers. I wished that I could have stayed more than one night!”

• The rooms very clean. The beds were comfortable and clean.
• Maid service comes pretty early. Not good for people who like to sleep in.

“This hotel was very pleasant to stay at. The bed and bedding were clean and comfortable, the room was a good size, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Worth the money!”

• It was convenient to where we were staying.
• They have an advertisement in the lobby for a breakfast buffet which they no longer offer.

“The hotel staff was not knock your socks off friendly. Some just were there to do their job and leave, no more, no less. We got room service: coffee for two consisted of exactly two cups of coffee and we got a muffin and jelly/butter. We got no silver wear to spread the jelly and had to call the front desk. It was a fine stay though and if we were in the area would stay here again. It was clean.”
