“Waited at check in for several minutes while there was plenty staff. Awful service! Room was noisy due to elevators, vending machine and poorly insulated windows (could hear trains, planes, automobiles and boats from room)!”

“The room was quite fine. Excellent bed - mattress (the sleep-number"model) and linen were top quality and the room decor was very appealing. The immediately lobby area and restaurant were attractive and tastefully decorated, and provided amenities including sofa and armchairs, TV and free PC with Internet access. By contrast the condition of the carpeting and hallways on the guest room floors seemed rather dilapidated. The hotel exterior is plain brick and institutional-looking, and the area is somewhat rundown. The staff we encountered were a mixed bag - one extremely friendly and helpful desk clerk and another who was somewhat indifferent. The restaurant breakfast was quite acceptable. This hotel is fine as long as you are planning to be there just for sleeping, and expect to be spending most of your time elsewhere in the area.”

“The Radisson in New London was a perfect location. It was easy to get to, 5 minutes from Connecticut College where my conference was, within walking distance of the local restaurants, and close enough to Groton and Mystic for quick visits. The staff was courteous and friendly, and were quick to fix a small problem with my room. They were surprisingly ignorant about the local Post Office right across the street, and sent me quite out of my way, but I suppose that was a minor inconvenience. The room itself was very comfortable, with a Sleep Number bed and fresh smelling linens. The bath was clean and the shampoos and soaps were very nice. The restaurant had surprisingly good food, but the service was very uneven. A couple arriving 20 minutes after me received their order at the some time as I did. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel.”

“It was a disappointing stay. We did not use the bath/shower because of the hair. We mentioned it to the front desk after the first night, but nothing was done. There was supposed to be an iron in the room, but there wasn't.”

“The hotel was in need of the typical routine maintence. Giving the over all feel of the hotel of being run down. The wall paper was peeling through out the hotel the marble in the room was falling off the wall. The pool was dirty enough to keep us out of it, looking like it hadn't been cleaned in a year or so. And the elevator gave us a uneasy feeling at best, it shook popped and was getting caught on the sides when going up or down. The inspection card said that it wasn't due for another year, so its kinda scary to think that no one is going to check it out for that long if its already acting up.”

“This hotel was fine for our needs. We did not arrive until 8 pm at night and left early the next morning. The pool area had black mold in the mats, but my kids seemed to have a good time had to ask for pool towels, but the were brought to us promptly. The room itself was spacious with 2 double beds and plenty of room for the cot which we needed. The staff was friendly.”

“This Radisson should not be 3 star. Room's wall were paper were
thin. Door rattled when any other room was open or closed.”

“The Radisson we stayed at was nice. The room was spacious and the beds were quite nice. The restaurant looked reasonable, although I didn't have a chance to eat at it. The pool's temperature was, according to my girlfriend, bathwater. I wished that the staff was a little more flexible with the checkout time. I asked if it could be a little later and they would not help me out. Overall, I was happy with my hotel experience.”
