“For business travelers, a stay of a day or two, it's fine. Not the most romantic of getaways, but a serviceable hotel.”

“While the location of the property was perfect, the carpet was dirty and stained. The complimentary breakfast was nice. Did not expect to have to pay for parking. Parking should be complimentary.”

“The hotel was fine, the location next to a bar which played loud music until 2am was not so nice. It kept me and my husband up. It would be fine for business travel during the week.”

“The hotel was not only convenient to I-84, downtown Hartford and the train station, there were a number of restaurants and bars nearby.”

“The room had a musty, pee smell and the bathroom was tiny. Toilet could barely flush. I got 5 hours of sleep thanks to a band playing at one of the bars next door. Cramped, inconvenient basement parking garage. Shell out the few extra bucks and stay at a better hotel!”

“I was in town for business at the CT Expo. When I arrived I didn't know I had to pay extra for parking which was $12 per night! The whole hotel looks completely refurbished, new bathrooms, tile, carpet, etc. When I got to my room it was rather small. There is no place to put toiletries except for on the toilet seat cover. My room was on the rear of the hotel facing the parking lot where there are bars & clubs across the lot. You can hear the noise from your room since there is a lot of activity at night. Around 12:30 AM I heard loud noises from the room next to mine, later I find out it was a basketball team staying in several rooms. Nice and quiet except you can still hear sirens and cars. It was larger with a microwave & fridge.”

“The staff is usually friendly, the rooms though a bit small, are clean and comfortable, and the view over the capital and park is much more pleasant than that of the freeway at the other more posh hotel.”
