• Great view. Friendly staff.
• Food service was horrible. Wait staff very unfriendly and was not very helpful.

“Great location for a romantic weekend for 2 or for a family of 6. 5-star service, but the eating facilities were very poor. Horrible staff with room service and dining area. Food not very good at all.”

• It was close to the beach and the staff was very helpful.
• There were not may family restaurants in the area, we had to drive to Destin a couple of times.

“The room was very clean, the courtyard and pool areas were very nice. I especially enjoyed the area just outside the room with the chairs and table where you could sit in the evening and enjoy the Gulf breeze.”

• It was available on Memorial Day Weekend.
• Air conditioner was not working in one room. Gap under door 3/4".

“We were put in the infant/toddler wing of the hotel unknowingly. A screaming crying child was walked in the hallway at 0300 to calm it down instead of kept in the room. There were no available rooms to move us. The hotel was overbooked.”

• The room was large and had comfortable furniture as well as a computer station.
• We had booked a room with a king bed with balcony and French doors. They tried to give us a room without French doors or a balcony. It also smelled.

“Although they did try to give us a room without a balcony or French doors that smelled of mold and mildew. The front desk did give us another room that met our reserved room expectations, once we let them know that we were not happy with the first room. The bed was a little harder than expected, but had nice bed linens and was clean. The beach area was great. We really enjoyed staying there and walking on the beach.”

• Leaving.

“Very unhappy with the rooms. We had to change rooms 3 times. The first room wasn't as advertised. The second room had no working phones or internet service. Since we were catering a wedding it made for a disastrous stay. We asked to speak to a manager and were told no manager was on duty. This was Friday/Saturday/Sunday. I was given the managers number and left a voice mail via my cell phone because there wasn't a working phone in the room. I have yet to hear from him.”

• I liked the access to the beach and lighting at night.
• Restaurant food was below my expectations, front desk not helpful.

“If I could change something at this hotel, it would be the quality of air in the room. Room either smelled like wet carpet or horrible floral air freshener. Nice access to the beach and pool areas were nice. We liked the Tiki Bar as well. Restaurant food was not good, they need to change the chef.”

• On the beach, had great views.
• Pay for games, the price of room.

“The way I understood on the internet the games where free, but we had to pay 6.95 per game. The price of the room was to high. There was some kind of stain on the ceiling. The staff was very friendly. To many people drinking beer at the pool. Nobody out the to make them leave.”

• Very friendly manager; made us feel comfortable and welcome. Close to beach.
• Lobby was being renovated. Parking was limited at front lobby due to public safety purposes.

“The room was beautiful, clean, well equipped, cool and comfortable. There was a nice balcony and two pools. I would love to stay here again.”

• The hotel was in a convenient location for beach activities and the fitness room was very nice.
• Electrical repairs needed for the room were not completed and members of the front desk staff were unprofessional.

“The construction areas at the hotel gave the hotel an unattractive appearance but the other areas were well kept and attractive. Some of the front desk staff appeared inexperienced and not attentive to costumer's requests.”

• The hotel was spacious and the beds were comfortable.
• Nothing. Everything was exactly what I expected and wanted.

• Great location on the beach.
• Maid commented that we needed to be out by 11 am when the reservation info said 12 pm.

“Great hotel on one of the best beaches in the US. Good restaurant, pool, Jacuzzi and activities for the kids during the summer season.”

“The stay was pleasant. Nice rooms almost everything you could ask for. Just sometimes had to park some distance from your room. Wished we could have booked a room overlooking the ocean.”

• That it had its own private beach and in walking distance to bars and restaurants.
• That we could hear our neighbors early in the morning, like they were in the room with us.

“The hotel was going through renovations, but our room was very nice and clean-we were the first to stay in the room since the renovation, which is always a plus. Since the hotel was right on the beach, it was like we had our own private beach-not to crowded. The hotel was in walking distance to good bars and restaurants.”

“The main lobby of the hotel exterior still has storm damage which did not make a good first impression. Then we found that we probably had the worst room available in the hotel. Even after those revelations, we still had a great time here. The room was comfortable, clean and laid out well and all we had to do was walk down the parking lot to get to the beach. I think next time around I will shop around just a little more now that I know the area a little better.”

• Room and amenities were nice. Nice décor.
• The parking was not very good.

“This hotel is being renovated. The lobby and a few other areas are still being worked on. The room was extremely nice. Better than I anticipated. Not all of the rooms face the gulf. The two story portions of the hotel do not have an elevator so if you are traveling with small children; it is fun carrying all of your suit cases up the stairs. The landscaping and grounds were well maintained. The two swimming pools were nice. My only complaint is there was not enough parking at night. The location is perfect if you wish to make a quick run over to destine.”

• The price was great and the location was awesome especially if you have young children.
• The hot tub was too hot. It literally blistered my feet.

“Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. It was perfect and I was traveling with 3 small children. It was right on the beach with no roads to cross. The pool was pristine and the rooms were very up to date. I will always stay in this hotel in the future for my return trips. I only have one complaint and that was the hot tub. It said it was at 104 but there is no way. It was way too hot.”

• Friendly, accommodating and convenient.
• Needed to ask for linens for four most days.

“My reservations were for 2 queen beds and they had us for 2 double beds. The asst. Desk mgr. Shane butanone went out of his way to accommodate us. They were going to move us the next morning and after receiving a conflation, looked us up in the parking lot to get us into a ocean view room with the queen beds that night.”
