• Location and staff.
• Some noise.

“I had read a lot of negative or indifferent reviews about this hotel before staying here while visiting NATTC Pensacola. It is literally a straight drive to base (about 7-10 minutes) in one direction and straight to downtown Pensacola and the beach in the other (about 15- 20 minutes). The room was not the nicest I have ever stayed in but it was adequate. I am pretty particular about cleanliness and the room met my standards. The staff was terrific. There were two in particular who answered all my questions (one even came to my room to help me get my internet working). They were always courteous and friendly. It definitely made my mind up about this hotel. Next time I stay in Pensacola I will come again.”

• Room size and cleanliness.
• Noise.

“We almost ended up with a sleepless night. In the room next door were 6-8 middle school age boys. Three chaperone adults slept elsewhere. Our first noise complaint was made at 11:00 pm, after several hours of trying to be patient and not wanting to cause trouble. The noise continued. There several crashes against the wall. A motel police officer responded, but he was not successful to reducing the noise. Finally, at 12:00 midnight, we requested a room change and managed to salvage the rest of the night. We were told that the boys were celebrating a birthday party. Ashton inn should be terribly embarrassed over this situation...”

• Great Indoor Pool and nice sun deck!
• Had to walk through the pool room to get to the rooms.

“The hotel had great rooms and everything was just like we read about. Had a great stay!”
