• Good location.
• Broken bed, stained carpets.

“One bed was broken and sagging. It is a fine hotel if you don't plan on spending much time there, the rooms were definitely not attractive. The front desk staff was very friendly.”

• The location, access to stores and restaurants was very good.
• Our room was extremely hot when we arrived and was the same 3 hrs later; extremely poor cooling system.

“On arrival our room was very, very hot. I called the front desk to see if the cooling system was working and was told nothing could be done; that the building was old and like a red brick oven and absorbed the outside heat. We were told it should be cooler not by the hotel cooling system but by the later part of the day when the sun goes down. We asked to be transferred to another room but were told there were non available till the next day. Three hours later and after coming back from dinner, our room was still like a sauna. I complained again and this time we were given another room to move to. This room was a little cooler but anything would be better. When talking to management, their only explanation was that it was hot outside and the cooling system was old and outdated and nothing could be done to make things more comfortable. I definitely would not recommend it to anyone.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• Air conditioner didn't work; the staff moved us, but the 2nd room was very warm also.

“For the rating, we were expecting it to be nicer. It was a very hot day and the room airconditioning was not working. The staff moved us to another room and it was somewhat better but didn't get very cool. Although the staff was very friendly and helpful,for the rating the hotel need improvements made.”

• Lighting throughout was very nice, subtle. Attractive interior design.
• Turns out there were no tape or mat in the shower/tub. I slipped, seem to be ok, if a bit stiff and sore.

“Overall, very nice and quiet. Staff was warm and friendly on a very cold and snowy night!”

• Everything was good, location, clean, friendly and good service.
• Read in the wed that it had free cont. Breakfast and I was charged 10.00 for coffee, sweet roll and a tiny bit of eggs.

“Like I said it was excellent for me in everyway, location, it was clean, friendly, and convenient. The only thing was the breakfast, I read somewhere in the web that it had free continental breakfast, and after I had gotten two little pieces of sweet rolls, coffee, and a tiny bit of eggs and toast, I was handed a bill for 9.25 plus tax which came to 11.00 dollars with a dollar tip.”

• Clean and friendly.
• Very noisy room due to power equips on roof or back room, pool was cold.

• Nice view; Nice bed; Nice soap.
• It charges local/1-800 calls at 1$ each; It is old and not well maintained; Bathroom is super. Awful parking.

“The location is great and the hotel offers a great view from the upper floors. However, it needs an urgent renovation. Bathroom have old and very good furniture and chipped paint. The elevator is also not very functional. The entrance is not very attractive. The parking is awful. The worst, however, is that, with no warning they charge you $1 per local and 1-800 calls.”

• Clean, comfortable beds, nice view of mountains.
• Too near downtown, bar & restaurant low rated, dark and dingy. No good restaurants nearby.

“Very acceptable clean room, bed very comfortable, good lighting. Not much night life for the solo traveler. Not many choices of eating establishments nearby. ”

• The first front desk clerk we met was very helpful.
• The second front desk clerk was slow, very slow.

“This property was having some issues. There must have been a water leak in the room next door (they had staff in there working, furniture removed and working on the carpet) and our carpet was soaking wet. The maid could not have possibly missed it as water squished up when you walked on it. We finally had to report it. I am not sure the staff at this location is very attentive to detail.”

• Did not feel rooms were really clean, there was a dime on the floor when I got there. Had to leave bathroom door open when showering or smoke alarm would activate.

• Hotel staff was very friendly.
• I wish they would have had more parking, we had to park in the back of the hotel and there was no entrance back there .
