• Good location. Nice mini golf course. Friendly staff.
• Terrible massage therapist. I left after 10 minutes.

“We were very pleased. Ask for a room with a view of the golf course, otherwise you may be disappointed with a parking lot view. The restaurant patio was very nice; the food just ok. The hospitality of the staff was great! My main disappointment was a very inexperienced massage therapist.”

• The room was recently renovated, hotel staff nice.
• The old style of rooms, motel style, no light.

“Older resort, with only windows looking into parking lot, so you tend to keep your curtains closed, and we had then no light, and there wasn't a view anyhow.”

• Free upgrade on room, complimentary wine, nice decor.
• Wake-up call did not occur.

“The hotel employees were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a free upgrade on our room to one with a fireplace and Jacuzzi. When they heard it was our anniversary, they also sent a complimentary bottle of wine. The two things I did not like was that the wake-up call never came, making us late for our morning events, and I am not big on Sleep Number beds.”

• Clean, spacious rooms, Sleep Number beds, the views.
• There were roaches on the patio, grass and in the indoor courtyard.

“We loved the resort. The room was excellent; the outdoor patio was great to sit with a view of the golf course at our feet. The pool and hot pool were very nice, as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent experience.”

• Re-decorated with contemporary style.
• Sheets/pillows were worn, lighting dim, motel layout.

“Rooms are all renovated with contemporary furnishings but still have a motel feel. It must have been a motel previously but was re-decorated. I would not consider this a resort. Getting to the small pool requires walking through a parking lot. However, the hotel was adequate as a place to sleep before heading to the Grand Canyon.”

• The quality of room, staff and experience was absolutely amazing!
• There was road construction that did make it a bit noisy.

• Excellent attention to satisfying customers.
• They initially tried to put us in one of their cheapest room.

“Upon check in we were put in what seemed their cheapest room. No view or the extra amenities that was available. After complaining about room smelling likes smoking room we were quickly moved to upgraded room with all amenities (which we were initially told were unavailable).”

• The bed and bedding was good quality.
• Aside from the room, the facility felt like a low rent motel.

“They really need to upgrade. Cell service in my room was poor to non-existent. Internet hook up was spotty. The pool was marginal and the health club was shoddy. When you promote something as a resort. It should feel like a resort, not just a motel that happens to be on a golf course.”

“Exceptional helpful and friendly staff. Clean spacious rooms with excellent views. Upgraded room by staff for no extra charge. Nice pool area. Quiet location off of the main drag. Recommended.”

• They upgraded us and made us feel very welcome and provided helpful information and recommendations around Sedona.
• The were too many stairs to get to the room with no elevators making it a pain for transporting luggage.

“They should build a entire spa instead of just offering massages.”

• It was very loud right outside the room at early hours of the morning.

“If I wasn't awakened every morning by loud people. Cleaning crew, other guests, golfer, etc it would have been nice.”

• The hotel was very out of date. Beds were uncomfortable and room needs major fixing up.

“We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. We were staying in Phoenix for the week and selected this hotel for our one night in Sedona and wished we had not! The beds were supposed to be the big selling point of the hotel and they were very uncomfortable. Half of the lights in our room were burned out, the bed cover was dirty and the fridge actually fell out of the holder when we opened the door.”

• The flat-iron steak dinner with spinach was awesome.
• Disappointed, no view, run down facilities outside of room.

“The room was very nice. But for a resort in Sedo we were disappointed. The outside facilities were run down, paint chipped, water fountains looked like amateur built them. It would take minimal effort to spruce up the outside, put new awnings in at the restaurant. Make sure that there were balconies and views available before selecting rooms.”

• Away from the heart of Sedona.

“We were happy when we arrived to the hotel early and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They let us check in early. When we walked into the room we were so happy. The room is spacious and had a great view of the golf course. I would return to this property again and again.”

• Quiet room, good location.
• Common areas not attractive, uncomfortable bed.

“Poco Diablo seemed more like a spread-out motel than a resort. Window-mount air conditioners blowing onto walkways were loud and annoying. A large decorative fountain in a courtyard was broken. Staff were smoking in the parking lot. Pool/Jacuzzi area was small, cramped and rowdy. The sleep number beds hurt our backs.”

• Good Bed.
• Very dated. Very dark room, low ceiling.

“This resort was built in the 70's. The bath has been updated but that is all. There was a giant Jacuzzi tub in the bedroom. We called it the 'cave' because it had low ceilings and was very dark. Old TV, pretty awful. Not worth the money unless you are there to golf.”

• I liked the golf course area and how beautiful it's been kept hooray for all the gardeners there in the facility's.
• Nothing.
