• The down comforter was nice and the flat screen TV was good.

“ The hotel did not meet my expectations. I thought it would be a modern hotel that would be clean and sleek. Instead, it felt like a cheap motel that had been painted. The valet & hotel desk clerks acted as though they were too good for the guests. I booked it for three nights but only stayed for two nights. The rooms had an odd smell. The in-room safe did not work. Everything had a price tag on it. The carpet was dirty & dingy. The first night I was there, the guests staying next to me were extremely loud and obnoxious. I could hear everything and feared that I would have to duck for cover if shots were fired. When I complained about it to the desk staff the next day, they said that I should have called them when it occurred. There was no sound proofing and everything echoed. They did not offer to move me immediately but stated that I could move if it occurred again. On the second night, the fire alarm was pulled and it took quite a while for it to be shut down. Though I booked it for three nights, I decided to leave early and find another hotel for the third night of my business trip. I would never stay there again. ”

• Very cool ambiance, lighting and decor is great, nice outdoor seating and lounge.
• The rooms are distant and corridors not well lit - feels more like a dorm than anything else.

“Great hotel for people liking parties, lounge is cool, night time lighting is nice. The rooms and hallways are a little strange and not very clean.”

• The bed.
• The loud music from noon all day to evening, hotel is mainly for the 20 age crowd.

“This hotel was rated 4 star I would be maxed out to give it a 3, It really catered to the very young crowd. Sat by the pool for as long as I could listening to loud conversation of others about getting stoned and partying.... along with music blasted from the DJ... was a bit more then I could handle. wasn't very relaxing. Along with an air conditioning unit in our room that sounded like a plane getting ready for take off every 30 minutes or so. The only thing I would give a good rating to would be the bed, it was comfortable. I wish I would of bought the cancellation insurance...this would be one time I would of used it.”

• Great central location in south Scottsdale.
• Property felt a bit run down, needed to be spruced up.

“Great location. Convenient to shopping, dining, and easy access. Unconventional decor quite appealing. Pool area and spa conducive to a relaxing get-away.”

• Great service and friendly people.
• Air conditioner was very noisy and that make it hard to get a good nights sleep.

“We upgraded to a pool side room, which we spent more money for and their pool side rooms are not on the pool they are just on the side of the hotel that the pool is on. That was a big waste of money. You also had to pay for parking and internet.”

• The bed was very comfortable and it had a nice tub to relax in.
• Hallways needed washing, payed $10.00 a night to park, air conditioner sounded like a jet airplane, the toilet ran all the time.

“The best thing was the bed was very comfortable. The worst thing was the $10.00 parking fee. We didn't know they had coffee or that we could have a maker in our room until the second to the last day of our stay. The toilet ran continually and the tub faucet dripped.”

• There was an unexpected $10/day parking fee and plenty of parking available during our stay.

• Location was great, very convenient.

is not deserved. Other than location, not many good points. Not very clean, loud & late partying guest, and terrible air containing systems. I would not stay at this location again.”

• The linen was crisp and fresh. The valet service was excellent and the staff took care of you.

• There pools and lounge areas were comfortable, relaxing and fun.
• Our room was very noisy (next to street) and the room had a cheesy decor.

“ Overall, I would not give this hotel 4 stars since it is a little tacky and unprofessional (in the rooms and hallways). The pools were really nice and their lounge areas were very comfortable. The staff was friendly but we didn't request much from them. We went during the week, so it was a bit calmer. The hotel tries to be upscale (and succeeds marginally), and is not appropriate for kids. ”

“This is a hotel geared toward 20 somethings, and the pool area was very crowded with them. Didn't like all the extra charges for internet, parking. Also no coffee in room which made mornings less than desirable.”
