• the pool was lovely
• The mold, nasty dirty room should be condemned

“Worst of all is that the parking lot is dimly lighted. It was hard to see where you are walking at night. I tripped over a curb and sprained my ankle, while unloading the luggage. The rooms are old and have not been updated much. Rooms were large, and bed was comfortable. ”

• The waitress was wonderful!
• We were robbed and there were cockroaches in the room

“We had two rooms and both had cockroaches in the rooms--they sprayed and gave us a free breakfast. We went shopping the evening of the second night and unfortunately, left some bags in the car. We just bought lamps from Pottery Barn but someone broke into the car (they must have had a remote as the police said they often do) because the car was not damaged but the merchandise was gone--the rooms had no window toward the parking lot and there was no way we could have heard the commotion. ”

• The area and location was very clean.
• I would have never chosen a hotel that had doors that opened to the outside. I think that is a safety issue for women travelers.

“It wasn't very convenient for people that didn't have cars. Sometimes you have to share a vehicle while on business and having to walk to my room after being dropped off at the lobby was not a fun thought. I would have much rather gotten on an elevator and taken a ride UP to my room.”

• Great spa and workout facilites - best thing about hotel
• horrible cleaning staff - maid threw out important business papers

“Good location. Lobby area was nice but rooms need updating. Tough to sleep when you can hear the TV's from the rooms on both sides of you. The spa and workout facilities next to the hotel are great. It is worth staying at the hotel just to use the facilities. I had problems with the staff and cleaning ladies. During my stay the maid threw out important business papers and expense report receipts that were left on the desk. The front desk had a don't care" attitude when I told them of the problem."”

• Charged an extra $8 per room for "Facility Use"

“Everthing about the hotel exceeded my expectations except for the unexpected $8 per room charge for "Facility Use" at check-in even though we had no intention nor the time to use "the facility". ”

• Location - we were there for Barrett-Jackson auto auction
• Mold in shower, on floor, around bathroom heater vent, around cold air return.

“We enjoyed staying in the 4 or 5 room villas rather than a large building. We had no one above us and enjoyed that. The location was great with lots of good restaurants and shopping areas nearby.”

• Dark stairwells, no handrails on stairs.

“This hotel is going to be torn down and condos built in its place. Staff was not regular Radisson staff and therefore did not take the interest that regular staff would take.
I broke my leg on the stairs here and the management acted as if they could care less. The extent of their cooperation was to pay for my ambulance ride and call my husband 2 days later to see if I was okay. My husband ended up having to stay 2 days extra while I was in the hospital and the only concession was to give us those 2 nights at the same rate we had paid for the 4 previous ones.”

• location for what we needed
• Not 3 star room 2 at the best the sliding pato door was not able to open just a little at night for fresh air no security lock to open a short way

• Old, run down, difficult to use business center, poor lighting on stairs to room at night.

“I was very disappointed in hotel rating of it. The good news is that a hotel employee explained that the hotel will be demolished this year since it is so old. Putting up condos instead.”

• When the staff was informed the room was such poor quality and the phone did not work they upgraded me.
• The original room was of very poor quality.

• Large room, nice pool and bar area, tennis courts.
• Room decor very old and out dated, common areas had smell of smoke.

“Nice area in Scottsdale, good location for restaurants, shopping ect. Well kept grounds, very nice pool area, no off street traffic noise, hotel rooms in need of remodel as decor is very old and out-dated, smell to smoke in common areas of facility, interaction with staff was good, staff helpful and polite.”

• I don't think they are worth the money they would charge a regular customer. They were barely worth the money I paid.

“The room was clean, but the size and available amenities were not worth anything more than what I paid. I was not generally happy with what I got. There are much nicer resorts in that area.”
