• Good location. Super price for location.
• Hallways and main areas were a bit outdated.

“Great rooms and comfortable beds. The hotel itself including lobby, hallways, room itself and leisure areas could use updating as this is still in a nice part of Scottsdale, Az.”

• Nice lake and amenities.
• Hidden cost were not appreciated.

“The hotel is nice and has many amenities like paddle boating and canoe rides. The rooms are comfortable and the staff was really nice. The down side is that the resort charges an additional $9 a day in resort fees and it is taxed an additional $1.17. Be expecting it.”

• Pool, and location.
• Dirty carpet and bathroom growth.

“Hotel was decent and seem to have a wide range of room and area qualities. The room carpet had large stains and the bathroom grout had growth other then that it was okay. Someone ordered drinks on my room # but they resolved that with plenty of suspicious looks. I did not like the extra $10 a day resort fee weather you use the extras or not, sort of shady like a phone company.”

“This was a pretty high priced hotel. Its location was good, but its rooms and hallways badly need to be re-done. They look and smell old and musty. Probably carpeting, bedding etc. needs replacing. Phone & TV didn't work. Not satisfactory.”

• No lake activities, not really a resort!

“I would not want to stay in this hotel again. The room was poorly maintained, bad carpet, generic furnishings and amenities. The grounds could be better cared for as well. Friendly staff though.”

“I would not want to stay at this hotel again. It is rated much higher than appropriate. The room was generic, had bad carpet and pretty Days Inn quality of furnishings and amenities.”

• The pool is under construction so it was not available to use, and it's very hot this time of year!

• Cleanliness.
• No pool - bad mattress.

“The staff was very friendly. They offered to take us down the street to swim - which we did, since the pool/hot tub was torn out and being re-done. The room and hotel were both very clean. The front desk said they had poles, not the best - then my husband was told that there was only carp in the pond.”

• Room was comfortable and clean, staff was friendly.
• Pool was closed for construction.

“Hotel was ok. The room was fine, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. What we did not like was the amount of construction going on at the hotel during our stay. The pool was completely closed and it was 100 degrees out. We were told we could use the pool across and down the road at another hotel, which was not the most convenient thing to do when you are on vacation. I would not come again until after all the construction was complete.”
