• The friendliness of the staff really made me feel welcome and at home. The lady who checked me in was very helpful in directing me to my business des.
• Nothing. This is an excellent hotel for the price range.

“The room was very well kept, as was the entire hotel. The furnishings were comfortable and in excellent condition. The entire staff made me feel welcome and at home. The breakfast menu was good and the food was hot and good tasting.”

• No elevator.

“I am 70 years old and my wife & I had to take a second floor room. There was no elevator, so everything had to be carried up and down a long flight of stairs. We had to park around back of the motel and walk up stairs and down a long hallway to get to our room. My wife has some physical difficulties, so it is hard for her to walk any distance.”

• Very big, the bedroom was separate from rest of the room.
• Smoking rooms were around us, sometimes key didn't work.

“All in all, I enjoyed my stay. The price was okay, the location was great. The room key sometimes didn't work on our door. We had to use different techniques and tricks to get it to work. The room was bigger than what I expected, so that's always great. Like I said, overall it was a great experience.”

• Windows opened and there was a large sofa in room.
• Tiny tub, peeling wallpaper, smoke smell.

“The hotel was fine, personnel were wonderful. They took in dogs, a nice pool and their breakfast was good!”

“Upon checking in they were friendly and actually gave me an executive suite because they didnt have the room I wanted. It could have been a little cleaner but overall it was a good stay and excellent for the rooms.”

• Continental breakfast was above average.
• Toilet did not flush.

“Hotel was OK for a 2 Star. Only about 8 or 10 hotels in Muncie. This one is slightly above average. We probably will stay here again! Close to Ball State University and the stadium!”

• Small room, poor internet connections.

“This hotel is of poor quality. The rooms are called suites but they are very small so you get this feeling of living in a very small box. The internet connection took 30 minutes to get working and sometimes the connection worked and sometimes it didn't. The breakfast and the location were good.”

• Better than average hot breakfast buffet.
• Towel rack broken during 3 day stay, toilet hard to flush, tub barely drained.

“We talked with the office staff about the poorly flushing toilet and slow tub drain. They indicated they were already aware of the problems from previous visitors but seemed unconcerned. Bathroom ceiling damage. Lots of dust 1" from floor boards where vacuum did not touch. Very good hot breakfast compared to other 2 star hotels.”

• The pool area was nice.
• The beds were extremely uncomfortable.

“The room smelled liked smoke; the beds and pillows were very uncomfortable; the water pressure in the shower was inadequate; overall the hotel had a dingy and dated look; the pool area was nice; the hot breakfast served was a definite plus.”

• Room had a musty smell and there were no towels in the room when we checked in.

“We had stayed at this hotel previously and found it clean and comfortable. Hoping that problems encountered during this last visit were an anomaly. Continental breakfast is excellent. Price is reasonable.”

• The smell and malfunctioning items.

“I booked a Non smoking room with a king size bed. I got a smoking room and a queen size bed. The hotel switched us to another smoking room that hadn't had smokers in it recently. The room and hotel reeked of cleaning solutions. We bought air freshener to spray in the room. Our key cards didn't work on the second day of our stay. The toilet didn't flush on the morning we were leaving.”
