“Overall, this hotel is not bad, but I question the 3.5 star rating it's given. This is equal to the Sheraton and there is no comparison. The rooms were clean the service was good, the lounge and hotels were nice, but the main factor to me was the hotel itself was not that nice. The room temperature was very cold and when I asked about it they said to turn the fan up. I did but regulating the temperature was difficult. The layout of the location of the rooms was awkward. The rooms are ok like I mentioned. They were clean, but the quality was not 3.5 star rating, the shower stall was equal to a lower rent hotel and the water controls were not functioning correctly. I don't wasn't to give the impression this was a bad place to stay because it's not, it's the rating it's given which usually reflects the cost per night. I would give the Meridian a 2.5 star rating, but that's just me.”

“I will never stay there again. It was dirty, smelly and old. With no pool. What 3 1/2 star Hotel doesn't have a pool?”

“The staff, dining room, bar, and accommodations are excellent, but better maintenance needs to be done in the guest rooms. The toilet in our room had a bubbled and scarred toilet seat and the grout needed to be redone.”

“Easy to get to from the Airport. No swimming pool. Slow internet that you pay for. Comfortable beds and room space.”

“Good location to airport. Friendly staff. Great Lobby ambiance. Rooms are dated except for some new furniture. I wouldn't pay full price for a room here, but for $55 it is worth it to stay here.”

“This hotel is safe, has a restaurant and has a great location. The lobby is beautiful but the carpets in the room are very old and in the hallways. Feels worn down. The upkeep is lacking. Our hair dryer, TV remote, and phone did not work properly. There were bugs in the ice bucket. The room size was wonderful. two sinks and counters. I felt the hotel needed to do some upkeep on the place to be a 3 1/2 star. But with that upkeep it could become a 3 1/2 star again.”

“I was asked if I wanted help with my bags when I arrived at the hotel. I said yes, the man got a cart, loaded my bags, moved them inside, and I didn't see him again. I had to take the cart to the elevator and unload it myself at my room. Having had back surgery, I wasn't happy. In the morning they had 1 man to bellhop and drive the shuttle. Even though I started 40 minutes early, I just made it in time for my flight.”

“I was very disappointed. It was our anniversary so I asked for an up grade to king bed. The gentleman I spoke with told me it was taken care of. we got to the room and had 2 double beds. I immediately called the desk and was told that I did not call and that I did not get an upgrade (obviously). The person on the phone was not willing to help me in anyway. It went from getting an upgrade for 20 dollars to it was going to cost an extra 100 a night. She was very rude and ruined the time we had there. I will not go back. We told her we wanted to check out since they had not kept their word and we were told they would charge us anyway. I will not do business there again and will not refer others there.”

“Hotel (and I use the word loosely) was in sore need of renovation. Room was broken down, filthy carpet, smelled, lumpy mattress. Main areas very dark. Near the airport and not near downtown - which is where you want to be unless you are an airline crew. I do not recommend this hotel at any price.”

“Very close to the airport, friendly staff. We got a room on the first floor. The hallway had an odor. The room size was big but smelled like mildew. Very small bathroom and double bed was just OK. Small refrigerator was convenient. The counter top close to the refrigerator was spacious.”

“Mixed reviews. I loved the location, beds were comfortable. Air conditioning was perfect. Nice blinds to block out the summer night light. The "Business Center" was really crappy, I spent more time feeding the computer dollar bills than work on slow machines. Floors (carpet) was cleaner than the hallway but still noticeably dirty.”

“Overall it was very adequate (except no refrigerator to keep soft drinks, water and cheese, etc. in). The location is pretty good as it is easy to get to other areas without much trouble.”
