“This hotel is in a nice area of town. It is close to an upscale mall with lots of dining choices. I also like the fact that it is easily accessible from all the major highways. Everyone was helpful and the facility was clean.”

“Great hotel if you want to stay next to an upscale mall. Otherwise, stay at the Intercontinental.”

“Not bad but not a four star hotel.”

“Very nice hotel adjacent to what looks like an upscale shopping center. They have a restaurant that claims to be the place to "see and be seen". I didn't see it, but there were several well dressed people and couples who were coming and going from the Blue Martini room at 1:00 am, so I guess it is the place to be in Tampa. If you are looking for an airport hotel in Tampa I think this is the only 4 star hotels there is. Otherwise it is hard to find from the airport and not really that close.”

“Location good/ however for a 4 star hotel expected bigger rooms. Linens and towels were like razor blades. No Minibar or fridge in case of leftovers at diner. Vending machines empty. So you have to pay more in hotel convenience store if you want to call it that. In order to buy something you have to ring a bell and wait for service. Don't even start me with the ridiculously high and hidden hotel taxes (occ?) like $50.00 a day. You could not pay me to stay there again.”

“The lobby area, grounds, pretty much everything looks new and upscale. Quick check in. The hotel is adjacent to International Plaza shopping mall and a short walk to restaurants and entertainment options. I didn't use the pool/hot tub but when I checked out the area it was clean and not crowded on a Saturday afternoon, of course crowd levels vary. The hotel room was very quiet with almost no sound making it in. Very nice, I like the Grand Hyatt in Tampa a bit better than this hotel, mostly due to the parking situation, but I wasn't disappointed either. Of course, I could have sprung the $16/day for the valet parking and been done with it. There are so many ways to spend money near this hotel it seemed silly to waste it on the valet though. For you business/conference planners. There were several conferences going on while I was there. There was abundant staffing and nice setups on the tables. The courtyard is great with seating groups spaced nicely. I would enjoy staying here again.”

“This hotel has old world ambience with European elegance. The service is warm and friendly with a true desire to serve and to please. It is a remote paradise nestled in a modern, fast paced shopping and eating environment. It transports you to a fantasy of comfort and luxury.”

“Terrible service from check in where they gave me a room the exact opposite of what I had requested to check out where I had to jump the curb to get out of their parking lot due to a malfunctioning gate that they wouldn't send someone to correct (they made me late for a business meeting). The room is tiny and the bed average. No WiFi The room service, however, is great even when they send up something you didn't order. Also, the bathroom has nice style, though is small.”

“Its a good place for conventions, but they are NOT 4 star! They charge for internet connection. I get more amenities at a BEST WESTERN.”

“Very nice. Amenities in the room were great, clean room, comfortable. Internet was costly and business center cost money too.”

“Great for the price I paid. Excellent location directly adjacent to an upscale mall and very comfortable bed. I could hear my neighbors more than I would have liked (luckily they were only noisy briefly). It was nice to eat my breakfast in the room while getting ready. I was only there one night and left early in the AM, so I had very limited interaction overall.”

“Hotel has great amenities, but advantage is location. It is on the premises of a very upscale mall with a plaza that has great variety of restaurants, from very upscale to family- friendly to very casual. Hotel/mall is at the end of the airport's runway, but we never heard the planes.”

“This hotel is very conveniently located near the Tampa International Airport, but we did not hear any airport noise. The airport and the hotel are centrally located within short drives of Busch Gardens, Ybor City, the aquarium, and Downtown. St. Petersburg is less than 1/2 hour away. The hotel is connected to an upscale mall. It is a very attractive and comfortable facility. Self-park is free.”

“Great Location. Couple steps from wonderful restaurants and shopping. Great hotel for the business traveler, not such much for families as the rooms are small and kid friendly amenities are limited (games room, etc.).” Amenities at Renaissance Tampa International Plaza, Tampa
