• Convenient valet parking, free shuttle to convention center.
• Shabby carpet in an otherwise nice room.

“The friendly, prompt service of all personnel was up to the standard of a Sheraton hotel. Delicious room service breakfast, delivered on time and hot. The bed was very comfortable. Valet parking was a big help attending a conference at the convention center as well as the frequent free shuttle service to and from hotel in the immediate downtown area.”

• Had a balcony, and the staff was very friendly.
• Old, didn't seem to be remodeled in a long time, balconies were dirty.

“The hotel is located within walking distance of down town activities, and located on the water, there is a issue of finding something to eat after 11:00 at night, unless you drive.”

• Very nice facilities and a nice view of the river and cityscape.
• The location was a little far from restaurants or nightlife.

• The outdoor pool area was a very pleasant place to relax while the kids swam.
• Dining was rather expensive.

“The hotel itself was nicely maintained. It has recently undergone renovations and is in great shape. Beds were comfortable and the linens were soft. Housekeeping promptly replaced a faulty blow dryer when I called in a panic with wet hair. Beautiful flat screen televisions and plenty of outlets and internet connections at the desk. Friendly front desk and valet parking staff. Drug store (CVS) within walking distance and you can use the free hotel shuttle to get to a local grocery store. We stayed here pre-cruise and opted for the $3/pp cab fare to the cruise dock as the waiting time for the free shuttle was up to 45 minutes.”

• Location/front desk staff.
• 1st room we had was not clean.

“Our first room was dirty. Front desk quickly and courteously made another available. Second room was very clean, but one of the beds was sunken in the middle. All in all descent-not going to win any Leona Helmsmen awards for cleanliness-but reasonably clean.”

• Still undergoing renovations, hallways smelled bad.

• The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The room was comfortable.
• Did not like the smell because of renovations but it was tolerable and understood.

• The staff was friendly and helpful.
• Room/hallways worn and dingy. The sheets were stained.

“The hotel is convenient, and OK. The stained carpet, stained sheets on one bed, dingy hallways, and toilet that took 3 tries for every flush. It is really no better than a budget hotel, other than its very nice staff.”

• Location was good.
• Under renovation, rained hard and went into lobby area.

“Pleasing, I asked for an up-grade and the lady did so. Was pleased with the room, bed was great, nice view. Not a lot to walk to but a short cab ride will get you to some awesome restaurants. Worth the money! Staff was great!”

• Personnel forgot to clean my room.

“Very nice place to stay. Enjoyed the stay except for the room not being cleaned after the first night. It was cleaned while I was at supper.”

• I liked the hotel's downtown location, very close to everything business and pleasure.
• The entrance is hidden behind the parking garage and valet parking is practically mandatory.
