• Convenient, has all the amenities, great shuttle service close to grocery and drugs.
• Still undergoing renovations, hallways smelled bad.

• The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The room was comfortable.
• Did not like the smell because of renovations but it was tolerable and understood.

“The hotel was neat and clean. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. The room was appealing in appearance and comfortable. Very pleased with our stay.”

• The staff was friendly and helpful.
• Room/hallways worn and dingy. The sheets were stained.

“The hotel is convenient, and OK. The stained carpet, stained sheets on one bed, dingy hallways, and toilet that took 3 tries for every flush. It is really no better than a budget hotel, other than its very nice staff.”

• Location was good.
• Under renovation, rained hard and went into lobby area.

“Pleasing, I asked for an up-grade and the lady did so. Was pleased with the room, bed was great, nice view. Not a lot to walk to but a short cab ride will get you to some awesome restaurants. Worth the money! Staff was great!”

• Room excellent - Food was great.
• Personnel forgot to clean my room.

“Very nice place to stay. Enjoyed the stay except for the room not being cleaned after the first night. It was cleaned while I was at supper.”

• There were some hairs on the bathroom floor.

• Renovations ongoing.

• I liked the hotel's downtown location, very close to everything business and pleasure.
• The entrance is hidden behind the parking garage and valet parking is practically mandatory.

“The Sheraton Riverwalk Hotel has a very centralized location in downtown Tampa. It is within walking distance of the Convention Center, as well as many restaurants and clubs.”

• Nice room.
• Very boring area.

“This hotel would be for someone doing business in the Tampa area only! Everything was closed on the week end and I do mean everything. It was like a ghost town! If you did go anywhere, you had to walk 15 miles, or it cost you a pocket full of money to get there. business district only! Right smack in the middle of 15 banks! Will never go back!”

• Restaurant was wonderful and shuttle to Port of Tampa was a plus.
• Still remodeling, lot of construction mess.

“Stayed for 1 night before cruise. Very pleased with room. Room view was lousy. Room had been recently renovated and was attractive except for the bedspread. Comfortable bed! Restaurant was wonderful and wait staff was extremely pleasant to deal with.”

• Free internet usage, nice gym, newspapers each morning.
• Restaurant food was bad and service was terrible. Appetizers and main course served at same time. Order was wrong.

“Loved the hotel room, location and special features (i.e. free internet and nice gym). Valet crew was exceptional. Very friendly helped with directions, etc. Hotel is very pricey.”

• Clean room.
• Limited parking available. Had to use valet service which was expensive.

“I really enjoyed my stay. We had a view of the river (kind of nice if you like graffiti). The room was very nice and clean. Parking was limited. We had to use the valet service for 16 dollars a day. The rooms had free internet Wi-Fi. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.”

• Excellent location if leaving for a cruise from Port of Tampa.
• Maid staff threw away an expensive item we left in room.

“Great for stay prior to cruise. Staff knowledgeable of area attractions. Friendly valet staff (keep vehicle at hotel during cruise for much lower rate than at the cruise pier free shuttle). Good value.”

“The hotel and room were nice, however, be prepared for the parking. $16/night valet only parking. Would be nice to know this ahead of time as it's seems like a hidden cost of the room.”

“I had to leave the hotel early, due to missed conference & lack of dependable outsourced blue one shuttle service. I had to pay 3 times as much at another hotel! Not fun, not cool, not ok, and really not acceptable!”
