• Mattress to soft.

“Over all it was a nice hotel. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly and professional. Carpet in rooms could have been cleaner or replaced and mattress were to soft for me because I like a Firm mattress. But I would stay there again if I would travel to that area.”

• Sheets stained and floors were dirty.

“I found this hotel was nice for the price. The pool was not scheduled to open until 12pm but the hotel staff was glad to accomodate us by allowing us to take a swim before checking out.”

“This hotel is your normal converted Holiday Inn type property from the 70's. Not too much has been done to this property for the last 10 years.”

• Breakfast was ok and free--good room to eat in.
• Couldnt get room key to work--went back 2 times, finally they had to re-program door lock.

“Took 25 minutes to get in our room--key would not work, even after getting it changed twice. Hotel was noisy most of the night. Breakfast was sufficient and kids enjoyed the computer access and TV in the breakfast room.”

• Right off of interstate.
• Hairball and used soap in the bathtub.

“ACK! Room was dated but clean enough, I suppose. The bathtub was awful. Complete with brown around the tub mat, a sizeable hairball on the drain and a used bar of soap in the holder. I, however, did not get a fresh bar of soap so the traveler must have had it with him when he arrived.”

• Nasty and smelly.

“I thought that a Days Inn hotel would be nice, but this particular one was absolutely discussing. It was nasty and it smelled horrible. I went to the front desk 3 times to ask if they had something that could at least get out the smell. The lady just handed me some solution in a spray bottle. I used it and went back for more, but it still didn't get out the smell. I mentioned to her that I saw a dog in the motel room next to me, and she told me that I was in a room that allowed pets, and I preceded to tell her that I had no pets so I wondered why of all the empty rooms in the whole place that she would put my son and I in a nasty, smelly pet room. After complaining 3 times, not once did she offer me another (cleaner) room to stay in. I finally had enough, so I decided to leave. They even had the nerve to still charge me for a room that they incontinence me with. Talking about your lousy service and business. This is definitely no way to conduct business.”

• Not much. The staff was nice.
• The hotel was old and dirty.

“I thought it would be okay because it was a day's inn, a national chain, but this hotel was horrible. The bed was covered in bed bugs. The water from the shower smelled. I didn't feel clean after taking a shower. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• Maid left the curtain open after she serviced the room.

“Overall, fine. Just not close to the main drag in LaGrange. And the maid left the curtain open after she serviced my room which meant all my stuff that was "out" could be seen by anyone. ”

• Cheesy decorating.

“For the most part, the motel was well-maintained. Furnishings and decorating scheme were 80's themed. The Internet connection was sporadic at best. Dirty stained carpeting in the room. The hotel staff was very impersonal, although efficient. This motel is more of a no-frills one-star motel than the 2-star it is rated. This motel is good if you need a reasonable room close to the interstate and do not care about any amenities. It would be good for contractors working long days and just need a place to sleep.”
