• The lilies and fruit enhanced water in lobby. Glow lounge. And the bed linens.
• No bathroom fan.

“Comfortable, alluring ambiance in the lobby. Friendly, capable staff. Clean, comfortable rooms with ample support for business equipment. Convenient computer in the lobby dedicated to printing boarding passes.”

• Modern hotel, with upscale lobby, bar and patio.
• Valet parking only.

“Nice hotel for business travelers. The lobby was very with an outdoor heated sitting area and nice bar. The only downside was the valet only parking, even though they have a giant parking garage, you have to valet. Not much around the hotel, but a short drive to 3rd St Promenade.”

• Comfortable, warm , nice design, all amenities, bikes available! Lovely rooms.
• Having to pay so much for parking!

“It's the third time I'm staying there, I love it. I love borrowing their bikes and stroll the long beaches nearby. I love the breakfast by the pool. I love that internet is available 24hours. I love their outdoor lounge with cozy and beautiful sofas, fireplaces and intimates salons.”

• The lobby was beautiful.
• Parking was expensive. The rooms were just average.

“I would probably not stay at this hotel again. We had no problems and it was nice, but nothing exciting that would draw us back to this particular hotel. The room was just an average hotel room. Valet parking was $26/night! Good deal, but nothing exceptional.”

• Location was fantastic, everything else was not.
• Generally tired & shabby look - close to dirty, poor service from bar wait staff.

“Clearly a budget business hotel masquerading as something superior. Despite a great location the hotel did little in presence or staffing to live up to its 3.5 stars. I have had far more pleasant stays in cheaper hotels. As a mid business break meeting my wife it turned out to be disappointing.”

• Beautiful hotel, chic design, and romantic courtyard.
• Awkward location of pool.

“One is immediately impressed when you walk into the hotel lobby. Elements of Feng Shui were well utilized. The hotel brunch offered a huge selection.”

• Great location and nice view.
• Mandatory valet parking and common areas need repair.

“Overall, the experience was nice. I reserved two rooms. I paid for marina view, but one had an obstructed view. The facilities were nice, I think overall appearance of the amenities is above average. However, some touch up work (scuffs on doors and other small details) would help raise the appearance of the property from above average to excellent. Mandatory valet parking was a negative in an otherwise pleasurable experience.”

• Great location with cheap public parking across the street.
• Hotel was refurbished but not all aspects and you noticed the old.

“The hotel was in a great location and the staff was very friendly. The hotel seemed to have been recently redone but the areas such as the elevator and hallways seemed to be neglected.”

• Nice decor, nice staff ambiance, water and coffee was available in lobby for free.
• Pool was too small and charge too much for parking.

“This hotel was in a great location. Nice if you have a view of the Marina, not so great if you have a view of the parking structure and Washington ave. We enjoyed the larger bathroom, soft sheets and pillows large desk and dresser area was nice too. Should have more luggage racks.”

“Great hotel in wonderful area of town. Excellent service, from check-in, bell captain, concierge and housekeeping. Room was well appointed, comfortable, very clean. I'd stay here again whenever I had a chance.”

• Pretty downtown area, several homeless people around but they left us alone. The hotel beds were incredibly comfortable! The staff went out of their way to make our stay very nice.
• We were put in a room next to the Hotel Club. It was so loud that there was no way you could sleep throughout the night..

“Wonderful hotel. Very comfortable beds. I would ask for a room away for the Club "Glow" because it is very loud until 2 AM. We were "lucky" enough to have an after club party in the room next to us. I finally called the front desk at 3:45 AM to break the party up.”

• The lobby area and night desk person were excellent.

“We would definitely come back to this hotel. The person, who checked us in upon our late arrival, was friendly, helpful and steered us in the right direction for our limited time in the area. The rooms are very nice with beautiful views.”

• Parking is Valet only and costs $26 per day. It's a rip-off!

• helpful friendly staff
• everything was great

“I went to marina del ray for surgery on my leg.. hotel provided refrigerator for room, wheelchair after my surgery, and when i called room service for chicken noodle soup they made it for me eventhough it wasn't on the menu....then on checkout the receptionist told me the chef provided the room service free of charge”

• Lobby/bar an d outdoor lounge area - AWESOME!
• Restaurant for breakfast - stale pastries and way overpriced!

“This hotel is awesome! Great location, great service, great bar/lounge and outdoor area. The bar menu was really great and the food was delicious. The breakfast restaurant was not great and neither was the service. Way overpriced, $14 for cereal and stale pastries? We voiced our concern and the bill was not comped or resolved with another suggestion. It is 15 minutes from everything. We would stay there again, just not eat breakfast there.”

“This hotel has an awesome lobby and pool area. Outside Glow lounge was very nice to hang out. The hallways leading to our room were very dirty and smelled. Our room was clean and comfortable bed. Free internet access only in lobby on hotels computer otherwise internet is $13 day. Close to Venice Beach.”

• It was very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful.

“The hotel was within walking distance of the beach and was very clean. The rooms were very clean also and were pretty big. The rooms also came with a very small balcony which was a nice surprise. Very convenient area for restaurants and shopping too!”
