• Clean and comfortable with reasonable access for LA.
• Parking spaces were too close together.

“We were very pleased with the hotel cleanliness and basic amenities provided, including a reasonable continental breakfast. We would definitely stay there again.”

• Location. Close to UCLA MED Center.
• Dirty floor in bathroom.

“Good location. Hotel staff helpful with TV remote. Parking very tight even for small cars. Room right up front. Still very quiet, good night sleep.”

• The cleaning staff was friendly and pleasant, the room was nice.
• I found the desk staff rude. I asked my friend was I being sensitive, she agreed they were rude.

“The desk staff charged me a fee for services, to be refunded at check-out if I didn't use and which I didn't. They did refund me the $25 but I found that strange as I never have been charge for anything like that at a hotel. I didn't like that I questioned them about it and they were rude to me for questioning them about it. Other than that I was happy with the room. The hotel wasn't as close to the ocean as I was expecting, but I didn't let that stop me from enjoying my trip. I would only say watch out for the fee and them being rude. I wasn't expecting the Ritz, I only wanted a clean room, bed, shower, I got what I needed.”

• Close to beach.
• I asked for a extra pillow 8 hours no pillow and wouldn't get me one, couldn't sleep just went through a operation.

“The man at the desk was a jerk I will never stay there again, I asked when I checked for an extra pillow and an extra coffee, I even gave him the extra un-leaded coffee. He said no problem so I went on my business came back at 11:00, no pillow and no coffee and I went to the window and he said too bad he had no access to what I needed?”

• It was close to Walgreen's.
• The hotel staff.

“The hotel staff was very rude. Hotel was small and the family that owned it live there as well. They treated you like they where doing you a favor by letting you stay there. One evening my friend and I went to use the computer that was in lobby and they said that we could only use it from 9 AM to 9 PM. The next night we went at 7:45 and they said that we could not use it after 7:00 PM. So the next day we had to use it because we were changing our flight so we could get out of there and the guy said we could only use it for 5 min b/c he was downloading stuff for the hotel. We were paying customers so using the computer in the time frame should not have been a problem after all it said that it was for guest not the live-in ghetto folk! This is a very bad choice and you should find somewhere else to stay.”

• Rooms are clean. Nice to have frig. Breakfast is okay.
• Staff does not go out of their way to be friendly or helpful.

“Good safe location. Parking can be limited. Rooms are clean and have a small frig-no coffeemaker but there is a complimentary breakfast bar. Staff does not go out of their way to be friendly or helpful.”

“Very disappointed with this hotel. Although it is a 1 star it was very dirty and in a bad part of town. The hotel is very old and outdated and the price was very expensive for this type of hotel.”

• It was cheap.
• Bad neighborhood, old smelly carpet. Really a pretty crappy hotel.

“I didn't get mugged at this hotel. My car was not stolen. These were all fears I had when I checked in. It's an old, run down hotel in a somewhat sketchy part of town. It was cheap, though. I just needed a bed and I got one so I shouldn't complain. I wouldn't have stayed if I had been with my family, though.”

• SUV's took up too much room in parking lot.

“It was ok for our one night stay. For a longer stay, we would have requested a higher rated hotel. We got what we asked for, so no complaints.”

• Friendly staff, the price is right, easy access to free internet for 15 min, small outdoor tables convenient.
• Outside look is not attractive, public washroom dirty, Jacuzzi dirty, not inviting. Overall outside "look" not nice

“Was pleased overall, helpful staff, room cleans but would not recommend because of the "looks". Looks a bit like a "dump" from outside. Give a touch of fresh paint, flower pots or beds and make the entrance like an entrance should look. Not a little side door, not impressive.”

• The hotel was average. Nothing special.
• The room backed up to a very busy major highway and it was very noisy.

“When checking into this hotel, you need to ask for a room not backed up to the highway. Cars and trucks made a lot of noise 24/7. Parking spaces were very slim and hard to come by. If you¿re looking for a hotel room close to various places close to beach, but not walking distance, and you¿re not expecting a five star hotel, then this will be a good fit.”

• Alex at the front desk was very helpful.
• There was no hook on the back of the bathroom door.

“The hotel had poor lighting; it could have been a more soothing atmosphere. There was a hook missing from the back of the bathroom door which made it tuff to hang my dope kit. Alex at the front desk was very helpful, and provided excellent service.”
