“Overall, it is a great hotel and
I enjoyed it very much. Next time,
I would ask for courtyard facing room instead of a room facing the streets.”

“Great hotel for the area, but the parking for guests is outrageous. Almost half of what I paid for the stay.”

“Location of the Millennium Biltmore can't be beat. It is central to downtown, with amenities within walking distance. That being said, the hallways smelled of smoke and the rooms were old, with drafty old style single pane windows that necessitated turning up the heat way up. The washroom was old, and while I can appreciate the way they have maintained the integrity of the period in the design, the age of the rooms is showing. For example, leaning against the bathroom sink, I found it was not bolted, proving to be unsafe for children or elderly guests. In addition, the faucet handle came off when I first turned it to wash my hands. The TV was placed in a closet with swinging doors that would not remain open so I had to device something to keep the doors open.
I placed a blanket on the top shelf of the closet and a cloud of dust along with dust bunnies materialized. The carpet had a distinct unpleasant smell (like unlaundered socks) and I was glad I was only spending one night in that hotel. I have stayed at older Victorian style hotels, like the Fairmonts hotel in Boston, Ottawa, Vancouver and Toronto. The Millennium Biltmore lobby was equally as charming as the lobby on the Fairmont's, but the rooms lacked the pride in cleanliness and maintenance. I would not return to the hotel again unless it underwent a major update.”

“Old world historical charm in a hotel that has been modernized but still has the slight old musty scent of old historic hotels. Concrete walls make for very quiet rooms and floors though. They should update their toilets but otherwise, the bathroom was fine. Their gym is definitely older but gets the job done. The pool and jacuzzi are older too, indoor and underground. Valet parking is expensive, but quick with unlimited in/outs. I wasn't thrilled when I first got this hotel, but after staying there 3 days, I realized it's a solid hotel experience, just a bit older.”

“The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. The downside was parking which a fee of $40.00 was charged for mandatory valet service.”

“It's a beautiful hotel with an old time charm. Staff and facilities are well kept, bed is so luxurious. The only thing I did not like is that the hallways and hotel rooms are old and musty.”

“I was looking forward to staying at the Biltmore recently, which was my last stop on a month-long work trip around America. I now realize that I could have just seen the impressive architecture and lobby while walking through, rather than having to go through the ordeal of staying there. The front desk staff was phenomenally rude and unhelpful; the rooms were dark and uninviting; and the bathrooms were tiny and unusable. The Downtown area needs to be supported and re-invigorated, but you should definitely stay elsewhere.”

“This beautiful hotel was built in 1923 when money was spent to make all the public rooms ornate and lovely. It has been well-maintained and it was a pleasure to stay there.”

“The all around staff was very rude and unhelpful. I thought it might be due to the fact that my check in time was 3 am yet I found the morning staff to be just as unhelpful. Very disappointed in this hotel.”
