  • 3 pools, location and mini fridge in room.
  • Had to pay parking.

  • The hotel provides 1 free bottled water. I didn't get from other hotels.
  • Parking fee of $13 is too high. They charge you although you're hotel guest.

“The hotel is very near to LAX. Room is big enough for us and 3 big suitcases. The hotel is non-smoking but for the first we got, we could smell the smoke. Called the reception if we could change it and got a new room with no smell. Staff was friendly. The only thing I don't like about this hotel is that they charge parking fee of $13 per day even though you're hotel guest.”

  • Food was decent.
  • Broken elevators, running toilets, next guests had key to room and were trying to enter before we'd even checked out! No receipt at checkout.

“This place had the feel of a formerly nice place that had lost its heart. Even the chandaliers had broken crystals hanging down. The elevators were a mess - several were completely broken, others refused to stop on certain floors. The last straw was when the next guests were trying to come into the room prior to our even checking out. Sadly they didn't speak English so they were quite confused. When we did checkout and complained the desk clerks were also confused because the computer said the room was already clean and ready. There was no receipt available and they don't know where our restaurant charges went to. I'll take back all my complaints if I never get charged.”

“I have never stayed in a worse hotel in my life. The staff was rude and not willing to help. We had to wake up the Valet twice to get our car and the elevators did not work most of the time.”

  • Beautiful lobby.
  • Rooms in horrible shape.

“This Hotel is beautiful in the lobby. The rooms are in need of repair! We had to move twice and meet people on the elevator with the same experience. They never cleaned the bathroom and it had dirty washrags and cups from the people before us.”

  • Great location, staff, and room were fine.
  • Parking was at times a pain - ticket machine broken, etc.

“This is perfect hotel for in and out of Los Angeles. Close enough to freeway for quick access to different areas, and next to airport for the late arrivals/early departures.”

  • Pretty staircase, professional, relatively quiet, except noise in the hallway is easily heard (soundproof walls/doors?).
  • Check-in and phones were messed up all weekend due to transition to a new computer system? Some of the calls I was to receive didn't get through!

“Great, overall. Prices in the gift shop and restaurant, though, seemed a bit overpriced. Otherwise, it was great. I upgraded to an executive suite. The sleep number beds were just all right, noisy!”

  • Location was close to the airport, clean rooms and common area.
  • Check in/service was painfully slow not enough staff.

“Hotel was close to the airport, room was nice and comfortable. The TV was very old and did not fit the modern look of the room. The parking garage reader was not working so in an out privileges were a mess having to validate the ticket each time at the (slow) lobby.”

  • Dinner was well prepared.
  • Reception took an hour in line. Staff was cranky, room dirty.

“This hotel is dirty, badly run, staff cranky, customers angry. Our toilet in our room was used and unflushed. How bad is that? The pick up driver was surly and refused to tell us he made an extra stop at a different hotel. We got off and just caught him to get back on. The waiting time at reception for a room key at 3 PM was an hour. They say they give you your room free if you're dissatisfied. I didn't want to even think about standing in that line.”

  • Great staff, great location to airport, comfortable and quiet room.
  • Waiter was very slow in restaurant.

“If you need to stay near the airport, this is a great hotel. Rooms are very soundproof-couldn't hear the planes from lax at all, even though the airport was within walking distance. Staff was helpful and friendly. Pool area was clean and well maintained. And sleep by number beds is always great.”

  • Staff not knowledgeable about impending closure of parking structure.

“It's close to the airport, so that's convenient. The room was clean, but the air conditioning vent cover was loose and rattled. I wanted to stay 1 night and park my car there for a week until my return, but no one informed me prior to my arrival that the parking structure at the hotel was closing soon. I had to scramble to find another parking arrangement. The hotel staff didn't know about the impending closing of the parking structure which to me is unacceptable. If you have to stay at this hotel, park at valet air park just north of the hotel until a new structure is completed.”

  • No wait to register; staff told me restaurant still open & 24hrs room service.
  • Remote control did not work for TV; no channel listing.

“Stay was comfortable; no wait to register; room was bright & cool when I opened the door. The remote control did not work. The drapes were not wide enough to block out the neon lights welcoming people to LAX. I told the desk on check out about the remote control not working; they stated my night was free. We'll see.”

  • Very close to LAX, car rental on site, clean comfortable rooms.
  • The pool area was outdated, out of service and needed work in the entire area.

“This is an older hotel that has undergone some updates. The lobby and rooms were very nice and the staff courteous. Great location right outside of LAX and like the convenience of a car rental right at the hotel. Room service was quick and the food was good. Pool area is out of date and needs a face lift.”
