• Valet parked car right outside the lobby door, not under shelter as with most hotels in that area and star rating.

“We came into LA on a night flight and it saved us the hassle of going to downtown LA. Stayed at the Hyatt at Century Plaza for the rest of our trip.”

• Nothing.
• It was dirty, in the middle of a remodel and the design of the hotel was like a Motel 6. Very unsafe.

“It was the worst hotel I have stayed at! I arrived late on a business trip with my two grandchildren, 9 & 11. The parking was outside and felt very vulnerable. When I was given our room I went up to the third floor, and then followed an arrow to our room. It took us through a door that looked like a servant's entrance with metal kick plate. That took us out onto an open balcony, similar to Motel 6, and the rails were covered with old carpeting and tape! The room was dirty, old and did not feel safe at all. They did change our room after I complained and put us in an inside corridor room. The bathrooms were old and the tile had been painted and was peeling off the walls. Absolutely disgusting and a mart on Sheraton's name!”

• Old but clean, needed more attendants at the check in and check out counter.

• Clean, sophisticated, and had nice toiletries.
• Cranky teen hostess at the breakfast restaurant.

“This was a great, quiet place to stay for one night just by LAX. The shuttle bus came fairly quickly with a nice driver. The amenities were all nice. I felt comfortable here as a woman traveling alone.”

• Cheating staff, bad smell, and non-courteous service.

“The parking staff is cheats. The front desk gave a parking receipt, yet they took $12 per day from me. And, the hotel management doesn't reimburse because they can't find any record of me paying the parking fees. I would never stay at this hotel again. The room was smelly and very small. They called it deluxe, but its worse than a road-side motel. The room service was poor and they could hardly understand our requests.”

• The bed was very comfortable; I slept like a baby and the room was quite spacious.
• The bathroom was a bit small and the coffee pot should be in the room, not the bathroom.

“I like the comfort of the room of this hotel but I did not like the parking area for this hotel. Parking was behind the building and I did not feel very safe when I needed to go to my car at night. The customer service was great and they made me feel at home with their hospitality.”

“Horrible reception stating that we did not have a room after our credit card was billed and we confirmed the night before regarding our check-in - we were blankly turned away, until we called the hotel to inquire about the situation. Miraculously, the room that she said they did not have suddenly became available. After a long flight from Hawaii, on our way to another longer flight to Paris, we were bitterly disappointed and would not recommend this hotel in terms of reliability.”

• Room clean and spacious and beds very comfortable.
• The breakfast waiter served everything in the wrong order, but we laughed and just enjoyed it.

“Very efficient and friendly and helpful staff and liked option of a late checkout for a midnight flight, despite the cost. Good free internet was a bonus too.”

• Free bottle water. The concierge was very friendly and informative.
• It not a hotel. It is a motel with a hotel front. Parking was $12.00 a night.

“It is a motel with a hotel front. I would have booked a room at La Quinta or travel lodge if I wanted the outdoor motel feel. I didn't feel safe. Also, it is very difficult to get to your room from the main lobby. You must go thru many doors and buildings to get to your room. The overnight parking is $12 and I thought that was unfair to be charged a fee.”

• Confusing floor plan, bad customer service, hair in sink upon arrival, broken A/C.

“If you like taking the stairs think twice at this hotel. There are no signs to guide you to the lobby. First I was put out onto the street in the middle of the night, and a different set of stairs led me to a small room with 2 locked doors and an emergency exit, turning around I realized the door I walked out locked behind me. The only choice was to go out the emergency exit setting off the hotels alarm. There still wasnt a sign the next days think they do it for fun.”
