• I liked the effectiveness of the staff. When lines for things like checking in got bogged down, they brought in more people.
• The sink in the bathroom did not drain, and the shower door did not close properly and water leaked onto the floor.

“I enjoyed the central location of the hotel, and the location of services inside the hotel. The room was clean, but the bathroom sink did not drain and the shower door did not close which caused water to leak onto the floor.”

• The a/c worked well.
• They would not let me have a late check-out.

• Very clean rooms, staff was very accommodating with requests.
• The walls are very thin. Halls smelled of smoke.

“This hotel was clean and neat. The rooms are very small, but lay out efficiently. Walls are pretty thin; I was awakened by a screaming and crying child at 6 a.m. Finally called the desk after an hour. Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating with the problem. They also are very quick to put the breakfast stuff away even as people were still coming down to eat (it was 9:25 and breakfast ends at 9:30.”

• The room was very well designed for a small space - particularly the window seat for lounging a watching TV. The lighting was very well done.
• The bathroom had a hospital-like feel to it.

“Microtel is a very cost effective choice for the overnight traveler. The hotel seems brand new, the rooms are very clean and modern, and the layout is clever and efficient for a small space. When it comes to inexpensive hotels that impress, you can't beat this one.”
