“I would not recommend this hotel and was very disappointed. This is the first time I have been unhappy.”

“The mandatory undisclosed in advance $15 per night resort fee is supposed to be for the hotel services such as the pool, parking, room safe etc The everyday buffet breakfast cost of $17.95 was cost prohibitive. The character breakfast costs even more. The king bed was so uncomfortable extremely hard that we kept waking up all night even though we were very tired. The hotel staff were friendly and informative. Since we require a hotel to provide adequate bedding for a restful sleep, we would not return.”

“2 broken elevators, our smoke alarm kept beeping, toilet constantly running, all the doors slammed loudly. Very half-assed upkeep. Ridiculous $15/day resort fee.”

“On entering the lobby, you began to expect a really nice hotel. Our rooms were not. We were next to the trash bins on ground level of the hotel. The rooms were clean, but looked like the bedding and towels needed to be replaced. The staff was not helpful or even friendly.”

“At check-in I was told by the desk clerk that the resort fee would be waived. She crossed out the fee and I initialed. At check-out they charged me and said, "Sorry, the girl made a mistake, therefore you have to pay." I think for customer satisfaction, they should have honored what I was told and signed for at check-in. I will not be returning to Regal Sun and will be wary of using Priceline in the future. Some issues with the hotel room. Fridge was noisy and kept me up half the night. The children in the next room were quite noisy and the cleaning staff came knocking on the door at 8:00 a.m. to clean the room, even though I was checking out that morning and did not want to be disturbed.”

“The overall outward appearance was fine. but was not happy with the additional $15 per night added on. The room was like any other Orlando motel not light and airy like the pictures. Hotel bus service to attractions was late and it would have been faster to drive myself, also with the additional $15 spent on the room , there went the Disney parking savings.

“The lobby was very nice and I was excited to stay there, but that excitement soon faded when we had to shell out an additional $15 per night for resort fees. Our room was not even in the same building as the lobby and we had a nice view of the parking lot. This hotel is one with the rooms with the doors outside, so it was a little noisy later in the evening. The rooms were OK, they were very clean and look like they were updated recently.”

“The public areas are very nice. The room we had was in the older section. I think since we had gotten such a great price they put us in the older section saving the better rooms for those paying more money. The $15.00 charge was really too much as we did not use their transportation to the parks as we were not there for that.”

“This hotel is the old Grovesnor Hotel that seemed out-of-date almost from the time it opened. The ceilings in the rooms and hallways is very low about 6 feet 6 inches it seemed compare to average ceiling heights of 8 feet. The elevators were very slow and hot as well as small, almost claustrophobic. The kids pool with waterfalls and a play area was really cold. The other, more adult pool was warm and not too bad. The Hot tub was cooler than the warm pool, not hot at all.”

“Friendly, helpful staff, 24/7 play area for toddlers, shuttle bus to Disney parks very easy to utilize. Concierge never seemed to be on duty to hand out our free welcome pack, but we got someone to give us a discount coupon for Raglan road. Hotel handled special requests for cribs and king-size bed, and didn't remove the sheets and blankets we brought from home and used on the cribs/bed.”

“The hotel itself was nice. Upon arrival we were informed that there was a $15 per night additional charge. The beds were sagging and the decor was not up to the Disney standards.”

“Was charged $15.00 per day resort fee. This hotel is old and the wing buildings are showing their age. Gated parking lots were broken or missing.”

“The location for a one night stop on the way to Disney is the only advantage to this hotel. The room we were assigned looked to have been built in the 60's. Perhaps there is a newer nicer area that we did not see.”

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Upon check-in had to wait 20 minutes while staff member settled a personal call. Room was noisy right above loading dock. Found several spiders in room.”

“The lobby was very nice. The room given to us was noisy and not even close to a good location within the hotel. The door closer slammed the door every time neighbors left. You could hear the kids next door screaming first thing in the morning. Only 2 options available for food on location, neither one was very economical. Other food options were a drive away. We waited a half hour after the scheduled pick up to catch the bus to the parks. Mandatory daily $15 fee for things we didn't even use.”
