“Needed a place to stay overnight near Eppley Field. This property is five minutes from the airport, clean and convenient. Nice breakfast included. Highly recommend this hotel.”

• The free breakfast was excellent.
• The water from the shower was not strong and the shower head did not work well.

“It was a clean, neat place to stay. It was quiet and the staff and plan of the hotel was always ready to serve and meet my needs.”

• We loved that the hotel was so close to the airport. We will likely stay here every time we need to be close to the airport.
• Sort of noisy.

• The room was wonderful - peaceful, relaxing.
• Only thing - it would have been nice if the staff said what all the hotel had - pool, exercise room, etc.

“I was staying here just over night so I could catch my early morning flight. It was a wonderful stay. I was not expecting to have a suite, so it was a nice surprise and so nice. When I walked in it made me wish I could have stayed another night. The bed was so comfortable and relaxing, the living room/kitchen area was spacious and welcoming. I can't say enough good things about my stay at the Holiday Inn Express.”

• The room smelled musty and their was way too much noise.

“The room smelled musty and most of the night it sounded like kids were running up and down the hallway on the floor above me. The noise was so loud that I couldn't sleep until I put some ear plugs in. Even then I could still hear the noise. I am wondering if there was a stairway or something over my room that caused the noise. I would not stay there again!”

• The front desk employees were wonderful.
• They did not have rooms with just one queen bed.

• The room was smaller than expected.

“The site said refrigerator available the toll free number. We called and said refrigerator available called the hotel no refrigerator. So we had to pack a mini frig we had to have a fridge for medical purposes that was very inconvenient.”

• The negative aspects of our stay so completely outweighed the positive that I cannot comment.
• Worst customer service I have ever encountered anywhere, no manager on-site at all this weekend (weekends would seem to be busiest time of week?)

“My family and I booked a weekend stay to visit the Omaha zoo and planned to take our small children there. I had an encounter with a night clerk at the hotel that was bizarre (he chased me down at the elevator and forced the doors open, shouting at me to pack my familys things and leave - it was 5am - I had asked to be moved to a different room the next evening due to noise above us) and left me quite unsettled. I didn't feel safe staying the second night so we checked out of the hotel on our way to the zoo. None of the morning front desk clerks offered any help, other than telling us we were welcome to go to another hotel, but without a refund. There was no manager on site and we were told we would have to wait until Monday morning to speak with him. Eventually I spoke to the gm of the hotel that offered a solution, but did not follow through in his promise to terminate the employee. I would highly recommend choosing another hotel, as I know this clerk still works there as of 07/28/07. The hotel group (intercontinental) who runs holiday inn has not answered any of my concerns about this matter.”

• The cleaning staff and front desk people were very friendly. This always helps when you have young children traveling with you! Great Job!
• The elevator had some questionable problem? Sometimes out of order and/or very slow.

“This was our first time staying in a Holiday Inn Express hotel. We were very comfortable with the room, security and staff. The breakfast was very pleasing and was kept well stocked and had lots of variety. We would stay here again!”

• Better rooms & general quality than I expected.
• Funny rubber sheets under the bed sheets feeling.

“Very handy for a business traveler and a nice mid-quality (or slightly better) hotel for anyone. Location is near the airport, but this is only 5 minutes from downtown Omaha”
