• It was close to the Beach.
• No staff, No AC, not clean.

“This was hands down the worst hotel I ever stayed at. I was optimistic at first and wanted it to be great. It was like an apartment- cool. BUT I quickly found out that the ac did not exist. I called the phone number I had for them (mind you this hotel does not have a front desk or any visible staff) to tell them the AC in my room was not working. I was told by the "manager" the building was not air-conditioned!! Information I needed BEFORE I booked the room. We stayed two nights and had to try to sleep with the windows open. Santa Monica is very loud at night!! There was a closet in the "bedroom" full of stuff. It appeared to be personal possessions of some unknown person- so weird! There were a lot of "homeless" people in the area. And some strange man even followed my sister and me for blocks and took a "candid" photo of my 8 month old nephew. Scary!”

“Absolutely the worst experience i've ever had to pay for. Sleeping in the car was a better alternative and (i did). A dirty old apartment w/ ikea furniture and a hot stove. The club downstairs rocks till 4am so if sleep is not for you stay here. Great if your in college, like to party.”
