“The buffet was terrible. If you are going to have a 24-hr buffet, then the food should always be warm and edible. The chicken besides being cold was dried out. The Chinese food was cold. The macaroni and cheese was congealed and cold. The other restaurants in the hotel were excellent but I felt like asking for my money back after eating at the buffet.”

“The hotel is in a horrible location all by itself in Indio. Nothing is around-depressing. The hotel building, lobby and rooms are nice. The rooms and bathrooms are a good size. Enjoyed coffee maker in room. I asked for a view of the pool and was given a view of the mountains (really a trailer park) even though they admitted hotel was not very full that week. The pool area is convenient to get to and nice. Loved having Starbucks in the hotel. Grabbed a slice of Pizza in their cafe and a good value for $3. Also had food and a Pina Colada from POM restaurant by pool and that was very good and a fair price. We did not gamble but gambling area looked nice. Also room service forgot to clean room one day. They offered to clean at night when I called but said no just give me some fresh towels. Room next to ours had a loud party. Security finally came at 3 am to break up party. There are a lot of drunk, loud partiers here at hotel at night. Will not come back with family although lots of nice families at pool during the day. Parking hotel valet was very prompt, courteous and parking was free!”

“The hotel (Fantasy Casino & Resort, Indio, CA) was not able to accommodate my specific request of a double-bed, non-smoking room.”

“The hotel was pleasant and undoubtedly the best available in Indio. The Juliet balcony is a bit of a joke and not worth the extra money. We didn't find out until we entered the room!”

“The hotel itself is quite lovely. I was very disappointed in there overall reaction to the power outage that night. They were not trained nor were there any forms of information given to the people in the hotel, or casinos when this happened. This could of been a disaster.”

“There were not enough places to eat. They would not allow late checkout and my room was not ready when I arrived. I have stayed at much nicer resorts for less money.”

“The hotel rooms were light and airy, tastefully decorated and clean. The lobby and hallways were wide and open, the staff was courteous. Coffee shop and snack shops were conveniently located as well as other restaurants. Offers complimentary valet parking.”

“I was attending a seminar in town w/ 2 other people. The hotel was nicer than many 3 star's I've stayed at. Good sized, comfortable, clean room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very Good service at restaurants - food was okay. Large casino with lots of gaming. Also an event center/ bowling/ nice pool/ 4 or more restaurant options/ lounge/ night club/ comedy club. Fun time.”

“Exceeded my expectations for cleanliness and food. But if you are there on business, don't forget that it's a casino too and that gamblers tend to stay up into the wee hours of the morning before they come back to their rooms to talk very loudly about how much they won/lost and why.”

“Don't let the seedy surrounding areas fool you. The insides and pool area are very nice.”

“The hotel is excellent. We always enjoy staying here. I do not like that you have to pay the price for a room and then a 10% room rate fee for the second person. That's not right. I can see if you had a 3rd person but not for 2.”

“I would recommend this resort to everyone. We had a blast there. Staff very friendly. Clean rooms. Food was great! We dined via room service and at the cafe. Decor in the cafe is lovely. Lots of machines fun ones. Just an over all great time in a wonderful resort and casino. Romantic place. We loved the pool area very pretty. It's just an overall fun, exciting place to spend the night at or a couple of weeks. You will not be bored. Guaranteed. Enjoy.”
