  • Flexible staff.
  • Cramped rooms.

“This hotel was more than what I expected from a Holiday Inn. The hotel staff allowed me to check in early and check out late to accommodate my schedule. I did think that the room could have done with less unnecessary furniture.”

  • We wanted to stay in the downtown area for a change. Now we know what is like.
  • Air conditioner could not be adjusted...it was hot. Bed & pillows not comfortable. Did not like the area it was like a deserted ghost town.

  • The pool was clean and well maintained, the price was fair.
  • Room door's lock would not engage, large hole in bathtub where drain should be, no continental breakfast.

“Overall, it was shabbier than I anticipated. But most of the staff was friendly, and it met our needs.”

  • Check in was easy and quick.
  • Service at the restaurant was awful.

“This definately did seem like a 3 star hotel. It was clean and fairly updated, but definately not up to normal 3 start standards. The pool was small and lots of rust all over the edge, although my kids enjoyed it a lot. The service at the restauarant was awful (food was great, though). Kids ate free at the restaurant, so that helped out. I guess you can't beat the price--we "pricelined" it for about 60% off the rack rate. I would would have been upset if I'd paid more.”

  • Nice comps with priority even though we booked with priceline.
  • Older hotel, not in a great area, restaurant not great.

  • It was just ok.
  • The pictures do not reflect the look of the hotel. Loud. wallpaper peeling off.

“I felt this hotel is okay in a pinch. Just fair not dirty but not clean either. My husband and I meet my daughters and their families so the location was good for meeting but we all agreed the parking bad. Front desk clerks all looked very unkempt, shirts/blouses very wrinkled. When we checked in the young lady at the desk was not into customer service at all. I work in customer service so I was expecting more. We were told check in time was 3 pm but when we went to checked on status of rooms they told us they would not be ready until 4pm. We only were there for overnight so it worked for the price. I was just expecting more from a 3 star level hotel. They did not have any coffee in our room and the coffee down stairs was cold.”

  • Walking distance a lot of location restaurants, clubs and attractions!
  • The locker room facilities in the pool area/workout area need to be renovated/updated.

“This was a great hotel. Local restaurants and clubs were a lot of fun and in walking distance. The entire hotel staff was a delight! They offer shuttle service to attractions around the area which was an excellent accommodation! I would recommend this hotel if you're visiting the Quad cities!”

  • The staff was very friendly.

  • Exercise room and pool.
  • Staff stole some personal items.

“The room was not properly cleaned between days. No replacement of hair shampoo and soaps. No replacement of coffee between days. Staff stole wife personal hair dryer and some clothes.”

“Small rooms and AC did not work in mine. It's clean enough, but old and needs to be refurbished. Area is a little scary.”

  • Hard to get to from major roadways.

  • Air units were very quiet.
  • Beds had old frames which meant there was a dip in middle of bed and water would drip for 45-60 min after a bath or shower.

“Good location, excellent staff. There were maintenance issues as you might expect with an older facility. Overall good night rest, but did not measure up to expectations.”

  • The staff at this hotel was very friendly and prompt with service.
  • The hotel was fairly rough around the edges. There were water stains on the walls, beetles by the indoor pool and a peach pit in the hallway.

“This hotel was adequate. The staff was very polite and competent, but the building itself was fairly rough around the edges. The walls had water stains, the hallway had trash and the pool had a few too many bugs around it for my liking (it was an indoor pool).”

  • It was a smoking room and we could not get a nonsmoking room and the room smelt like smoke.

  • The attached restaurant was convenient.
  • They tried to stick me in a smoking room.

“When I checked in he was going to give me a smoking room to balance out their inventory. He also tried to tell me that the room was not that smoky. I then told him I have 3 children ages 5 and under. He, then, switched me over to a non smoking room. The pool had a big ledge all the way around and there were no steps for smaller children to get in and out easily.”

  • I liked the pillows and the location of the hotel.
  • I didn't like the tiny number of television channels available.

“Overall, the hotel was good. The pool could use some updating, but having a Bennigans attached was nice for either dining in or carrying out. The staff was friendly and was able to accommodate our requests without problem. There were a lot of kids in the hotel on Friday night and they were loud in the hallways-running up and down and slamming doors. But for the price and location it was a good choice for my trip.”
