• Location.
• The building is worn out.

“This place needs a serious renovation. The door locks constantly fail and you have to get your key card reprogrammed. 3 elevators in this place and only 7 stories and you can still wait almost ten minutes for an elevator.”

• Old rooms, so humid the carpet was damp, poor climate control.

• I did not like anything, poor quality hotel.
• Many thing wrong at this hotel. Too many things to say in less than 20 words.

“This hotel had many things wrong, 1) I asked for a king bed room but they told me that the hotel was full and all they could give me was a room with 2 twin beds. I asked them if they could do anything and they said no, they were not helpful or friendly. 2) The ice machine in the floor I was on was broken and I called to bring up ice to my room and it took 20 minutes to arrive. 3) There was no fridge in the hotel room, very inconvenient. 4) There was a big stain on the carpet as if there was a water stain, very unpleasant to look at. My overall experience at this hotel was a nightmare, it was unpleasant and very irritating to talk to the staff.”

• They offered a free shuttle for a 5-mile radius.
• The business center only had one computer.

“I waited at the train station for an hour and a half due to an error at the front desk. Fortunately the shuttle driver was a good guy and did his best to make it up to me on future trips on the shuttle. This is not a three-star hotel. Maybe two stars at the most. I was not overly impressed.”

“Room had a toilet that would run water every few minutes constantly. I called and asked maintenance to take care of it and nothing happened. I asked twice. This is a small hotel with 3 elevators and they are extremely slow.”

• Location was central. Comfort level was good and noise level low.
• With small kids, the pool was desired but chlorine levels were too high and it irritated.

“The resulting hotel from our search delivered expected quality. The staff was considerate and friendly in dealing with our needs (small children, hot water for formula, cooling unit for milk, etc). We were slightly disappointed a small breakfast was not included but rather only an 11 dollar buffet for each member (3 year old as well) was available.”

• Dining and lounge together.

“It is an okay hotel, but I don't think it is a 3-4 star. Staff is polite, but not overly friendly, with exception of bartender, who is both. Food servers are almost rude.”

• Inexpensive, inexpensive, good location.
• Curtain would not close, so sun came through brightly by 6 am.

“Perfect for what we wanted. We needed a hotel for 1 night. We were attending a wedding in the area. The hotel was inexpensive, convenient, good location, clean, and staff was friendly.”

• The bed.
• The parking area & trying to get into hotel, not well marked.

“Nice place. The clerk at desk upgraded to a king bed which was quite a plus! Near stores & restaurants too.”

• Staff was generally helpful.
• Quality of room was somewhat shabby.

“Overall, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. My room, however, had several small things wrong that represented the general, slightly run-down feel of the hotel: the TV had many stations that did not work at all (I actually moved to another room-the engineering person who helped me was very friendly and accommodating); the mirror on the door was loose; the faucet handle in the bathtub was also loose and came off in my hand; the telephone receivers were not working properly, etc.”

• Comfortable beds, had pool and whirlpool all to ourselves for an hour.
• We had an issue with being told room would be ready and then it was not.

“Overall, very good experience for the price. I would stay again. We were traveling with a baby and bathroom was big enough to set up pack and play in it and that was impressive. Beds were very comfortable and got a much better night's sleep than usually happens in a hotel. Pool was clean and well-kept and we had it all to ourselves. Only issue was the room was not ready when we were told it would be and front desk woman was not very accommodating, just told us to go away and come back later. When we didn't do that, she called housekeeping to see if a room were ready and there was one so that was resolved. She could have been more customer-focused in her attitude but overall was minor incident.”

• Not much. Staff very un-cooperative to resolve my issue.
• Reserved 2 queens with call to hotel, got king and room was musty/smokey.

“Our room was very musty/smokey. Hotel said it was a non-smoking room but it sure smelled. I reserved 2 queen beds by calling the hotel and they confirmed. I had a non-smoking, 2 queen bed room. Yet, when I checked in, I got a king bed. They did nothing to resolve these 2 issues. Infact, when I checked out the staff told me the manager would call me, he didn't. I called and left him a message, he did not call me back. Very unresponsive to my issues. Their hospitality promise says they will make it right but they did not and no one seemed to care in the least. I would not stay at this hotel again.”

“This hotel was terrible. The halls were dimly lit, the room was not clean, the carpet was the worst, the lamp was broken, and the toilet barely worked, and there were holes in the wall. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was far from a three star accommodation. Parking was not well lit and it was on the back with no security. The whole hotel had a "shady" feel to it.”
