• Conveniently located.
• No continental breakfast.

“ It was much quieter than I anticipated, since there is a restaurant/lounge one floor below and it is on a busy main street. The location was near to freeways and shopping. ”

• Internet has a good wireless signal.
• Bathroom is too small.

“Day of arrival - no desk chair, no alarm clock (didn't need - used cell phone alarm), TV remote did not work. Maintenance fixed the remote by unplugging and then plugging TV back in. But I had to call twice, 45 minutes apart to get maintenance to respond. Desk chair was delivered next day. Bathroom is too small - no counter space, just a sink and a couple of wire shelves over the toilet. Just a little inconvenient. Water pressure was low also which I tried to adjust with no luck. Comfortable beds and pillows, room pretty clean throughout.”

“Quality of the room was good, although the bathroom sink drain was clogged and the refrigerated beverages-for-sale machine in the room made a loud buzzing noise through the night. The hallway outside the room had a strong odor of glue/solvents, as construction/repairs were underway closeby.”

• The staff is great and the hotel for the most part is very good.
• The last room I had there the air conditioner was so loud I thought that it was going to take off.

• The location was great!
• Not very quiet.

“This hotel is pretty nice as long as you do not get a room by the elevator and your in-room movie selection is working. I highly recommend people from the India region of the world to stay here. They had about 6 tv channels from India, and many of the hotel staff were from there. It was fun to see the fireworks from all over area while sitting in my 7th floor room!”

• The location was perfect. Around a lot of restaurants & shopping.
• The front desk did not always answer the phone when called. No refrigerator in the room for food.

“The hotel was in the perfect location of all of my needs. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. Although, I did find the staff unreachable at times when I tried to call the front desk. Overall, my stay was very nice.”

• The king mattress was so very comfortable. The room were clean.
• The night shift rooming staff was condescending and arrogant. The hate their debit card policy.

“The bathroom should be bigger and also more practical . It's needs microwave and a small refrigerator. Also they should have free continental breakfast with a hot meal like the Marriott residence inn.”

“This hotel is old and is showing it's age a bit. Room was clean and comfortable, hot tub was super hot! I did not eat at the restaurant as there are many other great options walking distance from the hotel. My experience was ok.”

• Very clean!

“Looking to spend some time in Chicago, this would be a hotel I might suggest. The hotel is about 12 miles west of downtown Chicago. You will have to travel by car to get to downtown. Parking was free!”

• Clean, shower head strong.
• No central heating (heater noisy), lighting, toilet noise.

“No central heating, so heater was very noisy turning on/off. Bed was not very comfortable and bed linens poor, meaning thin blanket between sheets and a comforter that keep slipping off the bed. Curtains wouldn't close completely so sun poured in in the AM. The light switch that worked the 2 wall sconces had to be turned on to use the outlets near the desk. You could not control the light to your taste (poor design). No light over the coat area where I had my suitcase (very dark) Toilet ran intermittently all day/night (noisy). Hotel never fixed it fully, only partially so it ran for shorter period of time.”

• Would not allow check in at 2:42 PM, made to wait until 3:00 PM. Ridiculous!

• Too thin walls - wedding party/kids too loud.

“On the South side of the hotel, there are bright lights shinning on the side of the building (and into the rooms), but the shades don't close all the way. There is a 3 - 4 foot gap in the middle. You can read in bed without the lights on. Also, its an old hotel that had great beds, but the walls were too thin- could hear normal conversations in the next room. The staff gave me wrong directions to get to the hotel - the front desk clerk was clueless about the directions so I had to talk to someone else.”

• The carpet & walls in the room were dirty, cramped bathroom, visible holes and patches in the room.

“Nice, economy hotel with pleasant staff and attractive common areas. The quality of the rooms however, was closer to 2 stars.”

• Great location--just off I-88, many good shopping areas within a few miles.
• Elevators were a little slow.

“Accommodations were clean and comfortable, nice bedding and pillows. Bathroom was clean, had a good shower. Hotel staff was helpful. Hotel was quiet.”
