• Roomy suite with everything we needed; comfy beds.
• Luggage cart was hard to steer.

“I remember this brand from some consumer rating article awhile back. I have always wanted to check it out to see if it really was that good. Indeed, I think it is that good. The suite was roomy, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good, with superior coffee service and a nice range of foods, most of which were non-junk. It took 20 minutes into Downtown with another 10 continuing on to the field museum. That expressway could be bad at certain times, but certainly not on the weekend mornings. We stayed at a 2-star place Downtown the next day for more than twice the cost (including the parking) and experienced one-fifth the quality.”

• It was comfortable, clean and attractive. Wished I had had more time to spend there.
• It was a little hard to find from the main highway. A sign by the hwy would help.

“Our first impression as we entered the hotel was that the hotel would be cozy, with the fireplace directly in the line of vision and burning. The lobby was attractive and the clerk friendly, even though we showed up quite late in the evening. The room was a comfortable size with some of the amenities of home. The kitchenette area was clean and neat. It is obvious that the housekeeping staff do a good job. The room was decorated nicely. The bed linens were attractive and appeared clean, although there were a couple of ink stains on the sheets. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed a good night's rest. We did like the fact that there was a separate toilet and shower area from the bathroom sink and counter - good choice in arranging the room. I do not know the regular price of the hotel, but if needed a hotel, especially for more that a day, would definitely check out this hotel.”

• Clean rooms with a nice leisurely front seating area. very nice breakfast area with different menu daily.
• Had to change rooms due to lack of hot water. No maintenance staff to look at problem.

“When we travel all we need are nice beds a TV and a place to shower. The lack of hot water and having to wait to be moved delayed us on our plans for the day. I like the hotel and it was clean.”

• Spacious, yet cozy. Very Good Breakfast!
• Lack of housekeeping service on the weekend.

“Great location and wonderful staff. Beautiful premises and comfortable room. The continental breakfast was the best we've had at a hotel in a long, long time. The only thing we didn't like was the lack of housekeeping on the weekend.”

• It had a very comfortable bed with nice pillows.
• There was a dirty popsicle stick under the night stand.

• No pool; no coffee in the room; strange to sign a "no party" agreement.

• The full kitchen in the 1-bedroom suite.
• Parking at night.

• The front desk people always greeted you with a smile and the complimentary breakfast was more then we ever expected or experienced.
• Nothing I can think of at this time.

• Lobby atmosphere.
• No caring staff.

“Overall it was a OK hotel. Upon checking in, the thermostat did not work in my room, no air conditioning. Went to the front desk and explained the situation. The front desk person said he was in the middle of his nightly reports and it would be a while. I said I would come back in a few minutes. Upon returning I was promptly given another room. It was fine until rudely woken in the morning to maintenance knocking on the door to come in and clean my carpets. (The entire hotel was to be done within three days.) Unfortunately, I don't think I would stay there again.”

• I liked the layout of the room. It was like an apartment.
• It was in the suburbs and kind of hidden. Far from Chicago.

• The room was very clean, and staff was helpful and friendly.
• Their website states they have an indoor hot tub, but it wasn't working during our stay.

“This hotel would be great for someone traveling on business, or having to stay for an extended time, due to its full kitchen in each room, and great complimentary breakfast. The room was very clean and nice linens in the room. The staff was very friendly, and helpful.”

• All but two of the desk people were friendly and helpful.
• The studio room does not fit 2 travelers. We had to pay extra for a room for 2 people.

• Walls a bit "thin".

“If the hotel was very busy the "thin" walls might make sleeping difficult- we enjoyed our stay! Helpful staff good breakfast. The apt. Type room was great. Would stay again!”

• Excellent Chicago suburb location, exceptional breakfast.
• Fire alarm went off at 12:30 are sat evening.

“Overall a good experience. Only negative was a fire alarm at 12:30 am. Could find no hotel employees at front desk for information concerning the alarm. Was told next am it was due to a smoke alarm in a suite's kitchen.”
