• Nice kitchenette. Very good deal for the money.
• Thin walls. You will hear everything that's happening in the next room.

• Great customer service.

“They turned my smoking room into a non-smoking room, because I booked smoking on accident. They were very accommodating. There were free movies you could check out, and a wonderful breakfast. I was very pleased.”

• I really liked the lobby area where we ate our breakfasts.
• There was one woman at the front desk who was very rude when we asked for directions to the closest mall.

“I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel was much nicer than I expected. I loved the lobby area and felt the rooms were nice. I also liked that there was a full kitchen in the room.
We were there 3 nights and did not have our room cleaned once by maid service so we did not get any clean towels or have our bed made.”

• Full kitchen in room.
• No pool, no ice machine.

“The staff was very friendly and helpful with whatever we needed. They were courteous and had excellent customer service. They knew what was in the area and could give directions to the major visitor sites. They also had a business center with free internet access and fax at no extra charge. There was a full service kitchen in each of the rooms that included pots and pans as well as dishes and some miscellaneous condiments. I was very impresses with the hotel and would stay in this hotel again.”

• The rooms were very nice and the continental breakfast was great too. Everyone was more than helpful.

“It was wonderful. Great safe location. Easy access into the city. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Just the right fit for my family. I would stay there every time I return to Chicago.”

• They offered chocolates at the front desk.
• Poor customer service and room quality.

“Our room wasn't ready when we arrived (after check in time) and we were told to wait 40 minutes. The toilet overflowed at 1 in the morning and we used all of our towels cleaning it up. The area was not disinfected and they did not leave us with new towels.”

• Roomy suite with everything we needed; comfy beds.
• Luggage cart was hard to steer.

“I remember this brand from some consumer rating article awhile back. I have always wanted to check it out to see if it really was that good. Indeed, I think it is that good. The suite was roomy, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good, with superior coffee service and a nice range of foods, most of which were non-junk. It took 20 minutes into Downtown with another 10 continuing on to the field museum. That expressway could be bad at certain times, but certainly not on the weekend mornings. We stayed at a 2-star place Downtown the next day for more than twice the cost (including the parking) and experienced one-fifth the quality.”

• It was comfortable, clean and attractive. Wished I had had more time to spend there.
• It was a little hard to find from the main highway. A sign by the hwy would help.

“Our first impression as we entered the hotel was that the hotel would be cozy, with the fireplace directly in the line of vision and burning. The lobby was attractive and the clerk friendly, even though we showed up quite late in the evening. The room was a comfortable size with some of the amenities of home. The kitchenette area was clean and neat. It is obvious that the housekeeping staff do a good job. The room was decorated nicely. The bed linens were attractive and appeared clean, although there were a couple of ink stains on the sheets. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed a good night's rest. We did like the fact that there was a separate toilet and shower area from the bathroom sink and counter - good choice in arranging the room. I do not know the regular price of the hotel, but if needed a hotel, especially for more that a day, would definitely check out this hotel.”

• Clean rooms with a nice leisurely front seating area. very nice breakfast area with different menu daily.
• Had to change rooms due to lack of hot water. No maintenance staff to look at problem.

“When we travel all we need are nice beds a TV and a place to shower. The lack of hot water and having to wait to be moved delayed us on our plans for the day. I like the hotel and it was clean.”

• Spacious, yet cozy. Very Good Breakfast!
• Lack of housekeeping service on the weekend.

• The front desk people always greeted you with a smile and the complimentary breakfast was more then we ever expected or experienced.
• Nothing I can think of at this time.
