• Very good location; it's central to everything, including ferry service to Oakland/Alameda.
• There was quite a bit of street noise and the room's furnishings were somewhat worn; there was even a little lipstick on a sheer curtain. Go figure.

“It's a convenient, fairly clean, reasonably comfortable tourist hotel. The charge for parking seems excessive, but it also seems to be the norm in San Francisco. The hotel provides a great location and fairly comfortable rooms. An honor bar or at least a fridge in the room wouldn't hurt.”

• I really liked this hotel because it is centrally located to all the places we like to visit.
• There was nothing that I disliked about this hotel.

“This is a great place to stay with kids or without. My kids had a great time. The rooms are clean and quiet.”

• Couldn't be more convenient to Fisherman's Wharf.
• Desk manager would have to improve to be unfriendly.

“Hotel couldn't be in a better proximity to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. If those are your intended sites it's terrific. Room was clean and presentable. Partial bay view was exactly that and overall not bad. Desk manager was rude from the second I walked in the door. On departure day I asked for a late checkout (one extra hour) and again with the attitude. I'd recommend staying there, past dealing with the desk manager.”

• Location, it was right in the center of everything we wanted to do.
• Not much curb appeal. Expensive parking.

“It was the perfect place to stay if you want to visit the tourist attractions at Fisherman's Wharf. You are walking distance to everything. Parking was a little expensive, but you can come and go as much as you need to.”

• Some staff although helpful were particularly miserable.

“Excellent location, nice room, complimentary tea, coffee and daily bottle of water. Would stay there again if visiting the area.”

• Direct access to the tourist area.
• They had parking, but it cost $ 35.00 extra.

“The staff were friendly. They gave us a free upgrade to a room with a balcony that had a partial view of the bay. Great for coffee in the morning air! The room was average, but the beds were sleep comfort, so you could choose the comfort setting. That was good! Fisherman's Wharf was just behind the hotel, good access. Johnny Rockets and IHOP restaurants next to hotel. The only negative part was the $35.00 parking fee. However, the parking time was good until 7 p.m. the next day.”

• Location. It's got a secret passage to the hustle of the Wharf with being too overrun.

“The hotel lobby is on the quiet Beach Street, but you can walk through it to get right to the shops/restaurants/day trips offered on the busy wharf. We rented bikes a block away and zipped across the Golden Gate Bridge (about 3 miles or so away) and took a ferry right back to the wharf.”

• Parking, very high it should be included.

“The hotel was ok I wouldn't class it as a 3 star, it was ok, the cleaning staff was allot more friendly than the lobby assistants.”

• Location, easy check-in and check-out, helpful front desk.
• Expensive parking, long walk from parking lot to room, room was a little small.

“It is in a great location. Many shops and attractions are within walking distance. The sink was dripping water the first night, but the problem was resolved without us having to contact anyone.”

“The room was a bit run down. And I too found a hair in the bathroom (on the handle of the faucet in the sink). Other than, it was a pretty average hotel stay. Nothing awful, nothing fantastic. We had a bit of a view of the bay, but mostly a view of a parking lot/garage. Checking was easy and the gentleman that waited on us was very pleasant. The hotel is conveniently located, that was the big draw. Nights were quite. Didn't care too much for the sleep number bed, but to each his own.”

• I liked the location of the hotel the best.
• I did not like the hotel's policy on booking rooms.

“When we arrived at the hotel our two rooms were not ready so one of our groups ended up on one floor and the other group ended up on another floor. They could not accommodate us on having two beds in the room even though they said they could. (I called in advance to make sure) So they offered the roll a way in place of a second bed and then charged me for it. Did not like this hotel and would not stay here again.”

• Location was excellent.
• No internet access, toilet not in working order, customer service was lacking.

“The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. Very unhappy with inability to connect to internet despite "booster" pack provided to us. Had to call 2x for toilet service and still not fixed by the time we left.”
