“Excellent place to stay. The best continental breakfast I ever ate! Large spacious rooms with a fridge and micro. Firm, comfortable mattress. The staff was very nice. Convenient location. I would highly recommend this hotel.”

• Nice, clean quality rooms and good breakfast.

“The hotel has really nice, clean, spacious and quality rooms. The bathroom did lack a fan which made for hot showers and stinky events. The parking garage was convenient but the spaces were very tight.”

• I enjoyed the cleaness and comfortable place to sleep.
• The breakfest was great, but they need to add more tables to accomodate the amount of visitors. Unable to find a place to sit in the lobby area.

• It was centrally located to all the places I wanted to go.

• I really like the rooms, beds were quite comfortable with a duvet bedspread. It was walking distance to a bus, some shopping plazas and grocery store.
• It was humid in the room. It was noisy with kids and families so not the best for single travelers who want peace. Breakfast area too small.

“Overall I stayed in 3 different hotels in the San Diego area and this one was my favorite for the room. It was clean and very spacious and comfortable. On the other hand it was too far from the beach. Location wasn't great on the exception of being walking distance to some shops and restaurants. Many families and kids stay there since it's near Sea World so if you are looking for some peace and quiet it's not really the place where crying babies and kids running down the halls are frequent.”

• Hotel was clean, kid-friendly, and the breakfast was more than mere continental.
• Swimming pool was tiny.

“Hotel was very close to Sea World, literally about 5 minutes, as long as you know where you're going. Breakfast was great and complimentary which made it even better. Hotel was clean and kid-friendly.”

• Morning staff was not so friendly.

“Great for one night before going to Sea World. Breakfast was quite good. The room was bigger than expected, very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.”

• It was very clean, well furnished, courteous staff.
• The parking was very tight fit for our mini-van.

“It was a bit difficult to find - even with our GPS - it was tucked back from the main street. Even though the surrounding neighborhood was a little dubious, the inside of the hotel was lovely and very clean. The staff was extremely courteous, providing us with maps of the area and answering all our questions. They provided a wonderful continental breakfast in a large ambient room. We all decided this will be the hotel we stay in each time we visit the area.”

• It was well located for Sea World, with good breakfast provided and clean tidy rooms.
• Probably a bit pricey relative to other places we have stayed of similar quality.

“Happy to have stayed here. Suited our family well with a good breakfast to start the day and well located to the central SD area. Found the hotel no problems with our GPS but can see it might be a bit of a challenge for those without. Well located for food outlets and supermarkets.”

• A little hard to find. Not directly on a main road.

“This place was great! Doors to the rooms were inside, friendly knowledgeable staff, very clean room with lots of pillows and blankets. Free Wi-Fi! Wonderful full breakfast! Close to many amenities. Huge nice bathroom. Overall, this was a good place to stay. We will definitely stay here again!”

• The pool was Freezing after they told me on the phone it wasn't.

“The location is right off the highway. The building appears newer and very clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. The free breakfast was delicious and a great plus when traveling on a budget. Right down the road from Sea World. Beds are a bit firm. This hotel was an excellent deal.”

• Very cramped. Parking to close together.

“Hotel was clean, but too cramped. I was on the 2nd floor, which sounded like I was under the laundry room. Lots of noise. The parking spaces need to be widened. Access out of the parking lot is difficult. Too many u-turns need to be made. Overall, not user friendly, unless, you need to get on the 5 every time you drives or goes to Sea World. I would definitely choose another location my next visit.”

• Elevator bay is cramped and unit is very slow.

“Hotel lobby was very cozy, comfortable and home-like. The continental breakfast was better than the standard. The room was very clean, large and comfortable. I am familiar with the area, so it wasn't difficult for me to find. However, it might be a bit tough for some. A great place to stay close to Sea World and the Sports Arena.”
