• Location.

“Older hotel in the hotel circle. Good room for the value minded traveller. Good service, nice pool. The restaurant looked nice, although we didn't dine there. I'd stay there again.”

• Friendly staff, helpful.
• $12 daily parking fee, small TV, pay-per min internet.

“Outdated facility that probably was a buzz in the late 70's early 80's. Upon arrival we found there was a piece of dog/ human feces on the patio next to our room that we had to ask to be removed. The room temperature was set at 68 degrees and would not go any lower. $12/ night parking takes full advantage of guests. Overall probably right for about $55 night, the resort title is quite misleading.”

• Nothing.
• A very noisy location.

“This place is a dump with noisy rooms next to a busy freeway, old sagging beds, dirty, and on top of the room charge, you have to pay $13 a day to park your car! This is not a 2.5 star property. Its 1.5 stars at best.”

• Excellent location. Friendly staff.
• Parking cost was high.

“Older resort hotel, not as large as the Town and Country next door. Room was sparse but clean and closes the parking lot. Nice large pool area. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff that was very welcoming and helpful in providing information about the hotel and surrounding area. Free shuttle during 8-5:30 to some of the area attractions.”

• It was hot and the rooms were nicely air conditioned.
• $12 fee for parking/room on side of freeway/noisy.

“I have stayed in the mission bay area many times and have never stayed in one that charges for parking. Most people travel by car so it should be included in the price.”

• Good location for my purposes.
• Separate buildings so access to front desk was limited for me (handicapped).

“Overall, this was a decent place, although it should be rated as a 2-star instead of a 2.5-star due to overall quality.”

• Slow to respond to repair requests.

“Nice hotel, good location for us, experienced hotel travelers. Patio door was unsecured. Drain in tub was very slow. Staff did not respond to initial requests for service on these items. Had to make a second call after returning to the hotel after being away for 8 hours. I would use them again but inspect the room for satisfaction first.”

“We really did not care for this hotel. We had to pay for Internet and parking. The restaurant and room service both closed at 9:30pm with no snack machines any where in the hotel. There is a small store but it too was closed so if you are looking for a late night snack you are out of luck. For the price of the hotel and what we received we might as well have gone to a Motel 6. At least there you can find a candy machine and free parking. By the time we had paid for the extras at this hotel we could have stayed at a higher rated hotel and enjoyed the stay more.”

• Close to Sea World.

“Liked the idea of a no smoking hotel; however the people next door were smoking and it came through a shared door. We had to pack up and move to another room. The staff were very cooperative in moving us.”
