“We stayed in this hotel Feb 16-18th and it exceeded our expectations. Anytime you book a hotel without prior knowledge about it, especially if it is not associated with a big chain, you wonder if what you see is really what you will get. The rooms could have used a little sprucing up, the sliding door in our room & the bathroom needs some updating, just dreary looking, but were overall clean. The staff was very friendly especially in the restaurant. It was the same group of employees no matter when we went in and they were very nice. Our package included a dinner one night and breakfast every morning. The food was fantastic. We had the steak & it was very tender and tasted good. We even ended up there a second night for dinner for their clam chowder and bread. It was right around the corner from the airport with easy access to several site seeing attractions.”

“The Bay Club Hotel and Marina is a delightful hotel in a very scenic part of San Diego with gorgeous views of the harbor, a great restaurant, and a very friendly staff.”

“Good out of the way hotel for a visit to San Diego. Good walking/running area and nice walk to restaurants in the area. Located between the boat basin and the bay, so lots of view of both. Military jets and helicopter noise can be distracting.”

“We had a good stay here. However the hotel charges for almost everything at inflated prices. I take exception to paying $10 a night for a microwave and another $10 a night for a cot, and then $5 per night for parking. The manager on duty was useless in explaining these additional charges.”
